Then how about not letting the enemy come between you and being able to fully internalize God's message. He has sent this whole-hearted servant here to help make it easier to digest, so that you may benefit even more from the Word perhaps than if you read the Word on your own -- if that is what you would have done otherwise. This man has been convicted to stand up in front of a crowd of people and thousands more online, opening themselves up to petty criticisms and still saying, "Yes, Lord. Send me." That sounds terrifying to me. Maybe realizing that you will feel as I do and just respect his courage and diligence preparing and presenting with authenticity this message for our benefit. I'm sure he could instead use his spiritual gifts of oration and emphatic personality to market some consumer item and make a lot more money than being a pastor, and perhaps even with less effort. I really do not mean to offend, and I hope that you will take this only as an honest question to ask yourself in light of what I just said.... What do you give for God? A trip to the mall to pick out a "Sunday outfit"? So maybe try putting your phone down, close your eyes, and just listen and be blessed. Try to resist the temptation to focus on materialistic aspects that should not matter in context that we are all told to "Come as we are" to the House of God and hear the Word and be in community together... After all, what if the disciples had judged Jesus based on his simple clothing?
