Great job from start to finish, amazing closeups and details throughout the process, thanks for providing such a well done video! I'm going old school and having a friend pump the brakes to bleed them out, good info about the bleeding sequence, seems every car is different these days.
Hi there, I changed my disk and pads last week, did not change the brake oil, and now that everything is new, clean, greased at all the right places, when a go real slow backward or forward and press the brake pedal normally, I ear clic in the front and back right and left. It is like the pads goes to rest at the top of the caliper going foward and hitting the break and at the bottom when going backware and hitting the brake. Never had Brembo, is that normal ?
I do not agree as someone who has installed slotted and cross drilled rotors on other vehicles. The brake pad is the problem big time pure garbage. Your car your choice do as you wish.
@@autohelixThanks for the well-done video. Learned about some new tools that would be very helpful with this style caliper. In the video, you said you'd pin a comment after you had time to break the pads and rotors in. I see you said they were good but any other thoughts about it? How many miles did you put on them after 7 months? Thanks!
@@landofthemorningcalm-ri9rt Maybe 3,000 miles. They work fine the rotors still look nice. Will be putting on about 2,000 miles in the next two weeks though.
