Great video, as was your last when you demonstrated the feature on the GV60. I live in the UK and have placed a pre-order for the Electrified G80 which had just been launched, and am hoping to take delivery of a fully specced car in Miata Blue (Arctic White interior) in June. For sure of all the features this is the most attention grabbing, and the one that people tell me they want to see the most when I get the car! As in your video it's clearly the most heart stopping!!
That scared me & gave me goosebumps from cringing! And I have a '22 GV70! Like the others, I haven't tried this feature yet. I've only used the remote to pull forward & backwards lol. Came in very handy when I was cleaning up a spill in my garage.....didn't want to get in my car with messy shoes so used the Smart Park to pull the car out, cleaned up the spill & then backed it back into the garage! Thanks Smart Park!!
@@CarSceneKorea have to give you credit for putting your own car on the line, when in theory a bunch of stacked boxes would have done the job 😄 or maybe you're just looking for an excuse to buy a new body kit?
Hahaha good one. I wanted to make the vid more realistic. There will be cars not boxes at the parking lot 🤣 And I had faith in Genesis, also could've gotten a million view video if it failed 😎
My, oh my, what a pity. Even I can open and close the sunroof on my Mercedes-Benz, with my remote key fob!!! However, I still think that this Genesis G90 is one gorgeous machine, and I will arrange for a test drive, SOON!!! Classy vehicle!!!!
ABSOLUTELY LOVE the G90! I would be EXACTLY like you with morbid fear! I have a 2015 Rolls Royce Ghost, but I think the G90 is almost perfect! Decisions!!!!!!!!!!
Amazing man! I would've chickened out and not dare to try it ! Gives a whole new meaning of "Precision Technology" .. 😀 Thanks for making the video man! Loved it!
My wife would love this feature! She says she has a "Parking disability". I have a G90, but it's a 2021, so it doesn't have this. Personally, I wouldn't use it even if mine had it, just because my wife is always so impressed by my parking skills. Lol
Does that car knowing??? Whether there is a big block of pole on driver's side? It seems car just parked a far from structual pole. Not parked in center of park area?!?!?!
Will it pull out so you can get in ? 😁 I still have the 2015 Genesis my dream is the G90 but outrageous price here in California and it didn't hold value at all for trade in 🥴
@@CarSceneKorea ok thx. i suggest automakers won't guarantee this feauture to work 100% and to be used on your own risk. and its probably also excluded from your insurence as well.
Coming from a high end luxury space, this is very impressive.i know that Genesis is aiming for Mercedes Benz, but I think this car's legitimate rivals will be Audi and Acura.
@@chrisak49 agreed. I don’t know why people even include Acura when it’s barely a luxury brand. Lexus, Mercedes, bmw and Audi are so much farther ahead
@@BARATTI99 I've driven both. Audi isn't in the same space as Mercedes. Audi is more of a sport-luxury brand and is more of a BMW rival. Mercedes is aiming more for Bentley and Rolls Royce with the Maybach S sedan and Coupe. Mercedes falls short of that space. And honestly, Bentley and Rolls Royce has much better quality and craftsmanship than Mercedes. Rolls Royce Wraith and Ghost are much more composed and refined than Mercedes S Classes. The Phantom is on a whole different spectrum.
@@mainsera4407 the new TLX and MDX are more on par for true luxury than in the past, especially the higher trim levels. I feel like the MDX Type-S finally getting air suspension will make them a more serious competitor towards the Germans in that segment.
The person waiting behind you would be fairly pissed off waiting for all this shite , if you can't park the car yourself , then you shouldn't be driving it in the 1st place. ..
So they've copied Audi, with it's self-parking technology (The A7 Auto-Pilot demo) and Swarm dynamic lights concepts or more recent the Q5 lights. Not to disparage the Genesis but this kind of self-parking is fairly old, even the Ford Focus Gen 3 (and other cars) had parking assist as an option so I'd expect this technology to work.
@@joec.5009 Tesla copied from other companies, EVs aren't new (been around for over a century) what Tesla did was make a commercially viable market. Other EVs such as Ford F150/Mach-E, the Jaguar i-Pace (first luxury EV and still one of the best despite it's age), The Audi e-Tron GT and even the EV6 are all arguably better vehicles than Tesla. The core advantages of Tesla is their charging network and range but even range is becoming a non-factor as anything above 250miles is more than sufficient for most people. Aptera is also prototyping a electric solar car that, in theory, doesn't need charging as has Eindhoven Unit has a solar powered demo RV. I put this here as more a FYI thinking this was a unique technology when in 2022 it's pretty becoming a common 'feature' on most cars that have 360° sensors on their bumpers.
@@thirdenvoqation7735 like i said, nobody claimed from genesis or hyundai that their self park is the first. i mean seriously? it's been out there and everybody has it. you saying they copied audi is like saying so and so copied so and so's level 3 autonomous ability. anyway, tesla's advantage is in the software. they are ahead in manufacturing and making profits. tesla buyers don't care about if those cars are better or not. tesla buyers buy tesla because they are tesla. it's like buying and iPad or iPhone. it's the power of the brand. i find teslas painfully boring, by the way.
Did they claim to do it first? So bc audi did it no other car should be able to offer this feature? You sound like some young stan on twitter claiming "my fav did it first"
Hyundai and Kia in Korea are good at something. It's automatic parking. But you can never trust service or quality. I've never had an exchange with a lemon method. So I hate Hyundai and Kia cars.
Nice. But would i youse it? Nope. Maby for show, to impress the Neighbours .. but nope. Not worth the Money. Maby in a few years when level 4 autonomuous driving is a thing, It'll be usefull ....
Yeah watch the video of the g90 is that the ultimate is that the 2023 I guess it is way it looks the lights I watch other videos of it I have a G90 I have a 2018 g90 5.0, I would love to get that 2023 does the wheels on that also in the rear turn the opposite or the same way when you make the turn. I just got this 2018 I'm only on my fifth payment I'm owing like $32,000 on it I would love to get that 2023 for all the safety features on it. I like the way you did the video too you wasn't bull driving around just being straight up I'm a straight-up type of guy a veteran living in Phoenix Arizona. Anyway have a good one enjoy.
Ha Ha do I really see a tow hitch on the back of this luxury vehicle?? Must be so you can load up all your money and take it to the bank. You obviously own more than one vehicle, why not buy a truck?
