I’m really glad we have this album. It has some great music on it and I wish they’d have made another album and another tour in the early 2000s… could have been cool.

I completely agree with Ray, the title track of Calling all Stations does really sound like a proper Genesis song it's got that sort of quality, that sort of energy. It reminds me some ways of the very successful Mama.

I don't think this interview paints the full picture. I think the poor ticket sales and the cancellation of a leg of the tour caused them to call it quits. The interview is clearly frank and honest, I just think Ray and Nir are disappointed becouse clearly Mike and to a lesser extent Tony were not 100% behind it from the start and they are the brand so you have to believe they chose to break it up. I think Ray and Nir both deserved a bit more commitment since they were approached for participation. The whole thing is a shame and I think they called the wrong shot. Should have put the band on Hiatus after consultation with them. No chance of reunion now 25 years on and Phil Collins in a terrible state.

This interview says it all, so disappointing for all involved. I think the band may have worked had Tony and Mike worked with another high profile singer and drummer around the same age. You can see that Ray and Nir never really had much influence on the proceedings. They were both very young at the time and on a different wavelength. This interview shows there isn't likely to ever be a reconciliation or reunion going forward. There was aspects of the band clearly not sitting right with Mike. In a nutshell, we gave it a shot but it didn't quite work out. If only they stuck at it for one more album, I believe it would have been a belter and much better the CAS.

I think that's a fair synopsis.

Calling All Station is a wonderful Album but Mike And Tony should have released it under a different name for the songs/ album resealed with Ray Wilson. Not under the name Genesis. It's too risky to replace a well stablish singer like Peter Gabriel, Phil Collins and even Mick Jagger on Rollins Stones. It's a big Risky and too many fans would switch off their interest in the band. If Peter Gabriel had come back , It would be so weird him singing a songs like Invisible Touch. It would not work. The same reasons why Sammy Hagger would not sing the songs David Lee Roth recorded with Van Halen
