This song still brings me to tears after a 25 year marriage ended and I couldn't understand why. Great true to life lyrics by Phil collins as always .

One of the very best songs by Genesis.

I bought this vinyl in 1986, when I was 15 years old. This song, in particular, is absolutely beautiful, fantastic and a showcase of the genius of this sensational progressive rock band. I still have this vinyl after all these years.

A sad but beautiful song,I never get tired of listening to it.

As one person commented, 1986 was HUGE year! I agree, there was a lot happening in the World! I think that the 1980s decade was an event all around! The people, the music, the movies, the TV Shows. Everything was definitely kind of better than they are now. What happened to humanity after the 1990s? It seems like everything went downhill after that!

29 years later, and after raising our 4 children by myself, this song still rips the scab off. Yes, it’s self-inflicted. But there’s something comforting in it just the same. Thank you, Phil Collins/Mike Rutherford/Genesis for giving us this outlet to reminisce/heal.

For me it is the most moving song on the album. The atmospheres, the melody, everything are so well treated...

Some very closed minded people hate Phil,they imply he destroyed Genesis after Peter left,went commercial they say,i and a few other million of my Genesis brothers say if they had decided not to go on we wouldn't have songs like this,this right here is proof those people.... they couldn't be more wrong.

Perfect Harmony a Classic

Legends! Literally one of Genesis' best, some greater than others and the ultimate break-up up, and goodbye track. Great lyrics, and instrumental. Overall a very nice melody, and vibe. I feel like this is probaly one of the tracks in this album that recieved the least attention, but I'd be surprised if it wasn't. This was Genesis' prime, and what a time it was. All the best legends, long live. 👑👑👑
