You can have your genome mapped by e.g. 23&me or ancestry and running the raw data (they provide you with, it's basically a txt file) through databases such as nutrahacker or genetic genie etc. You can obtain valuable insights regarding common polymorphisms such as MTHFR, SOD, COMT, DAO, just to name a few of them. Both are pretty cheap. The big ones just as mentioned in the video (BRCA and direct genes) are not evaluated thou. I've done it but had almost zero benefit regarding my health issues, it has however helped me understand how genes work and I think it made me much more aware of what I can do from a health and longevity perspective, there where I have an influence (such as exercise, sleep, diet etc.). Wouldn't want to go deeper because as the lady states more then half of the whole is not understood and even if it will be at some point, the connections will probably never be entirely (e.g. you might have a defective enzyme somewhere in the system but does that mean that correcting it would do you good or the body has kept that defective to protect you from something more serious...nobody knows these relations and the reasons behind them) The whole genetic paradigm has its limits and needs to be handled accordingly. It can generate unnecessary anxiety over things you can not change and not having the right knowledge to interpret things can make you have irrational fears so either invest the time to understand things before you do it or do it or involve someone who is qualified to interpret the results.

Prometheus and nebula as well will take raw data and give back very valuable information for very little money.

Can you recommend a genetic cost company for specific gene test for a disease like cystic fibrosis?
