Just wanted to say thank you again for Episode 301; we followed your selections for 3/13, and things worked out terrifically! We were able to ride everything that we wanted to on that list until our crew simply ran out of steam at the end of the day :). We used DAS and Genie+ on our trip in November, and the experience was unreal. We did EVERYTHING except Remy's that week. Only downside is the actual disability part.

here's another genie+ strategy that my family was able to use last week. I like to call it the rain hack. during one of the downpours last week in MK we wanted to jump into a show to get out of the rain, so did everyone else and the lines were exploding. We held a late evening reservation for big thunder already, but noticed that there was a current reservation available for PhilharMagic. We dropped big thunder, picked up PhilharMagic, tapped in LL then rebooked big thunder and was able to get almost the same return window (only 15 min. later). we rolled the dice and it worked....milage may vary.

We utilized DAS and Genie+ on the same day at Magic Kingdom a few days before Christmas 2021. It was particularly helpful to us because our DAS holder could not ride more thrilling rides. We used DAS for all the gentle rides and attractions and Genie+ for the thrill rides. It was incredible! We literally went straight from one attraction to the next the whole time we were there!

as someone who has used genie+ in DL but not WDW, but also as someone everyone always asks for tips for wdw, THANK YOU for all of these videos so i can try to help my friends! With Epcot opening at 830, I'm trying to teach them how to stack LLs for hopping to MK in the afternoon, so we will see when their 120 mins start, at 830 or 9am from MK opening

Great video! Is there a way to make a video on how to use and or create a touring plan since genie + has complicated the old way of using/optimizing the touring plan. Does the current touring plan take genie plus and individual ll into consideration for touring strategy. It seems as if it's a little outdated when optimizing. My family plans to go in May and want to be prepared:)

How does my daughter set up an account with both of us in it to book G+ while I book ILL? How does her account know we have tickets and park reservations that are linked in my account?

I have a large group question. There’s 12 of us in our group and thank you for clarifying that genie+ will be easy for us to book as long as we are 12 ppl or less! Is this the same experience when buying ILL? I thought at one point it maxed out at 10 ppl for ILL the ones you have to buy.

How can you create Subgroups in the Disney Experience app for groups that are > 12?

Thank you for this video series. It is amazing and by far the best explanation of Genie+ on the internet. I have two questions for you, that I would love the answers to: (1) can two members of the same traveling party (i.e. a wife and husband) be on the same MDE account at the same time, on different devices, and one makes an ILL purchase at 7am and the other makes a G+ selection at 7am? (2) I understand the 120 minute rule and stacking, but am not clear on when you can make your additional G+ selections once you get past your first selection at 7am and second selection 120 minutes after park opening; can you make your next selection after you tap into any of your G+ selections you are holding or only after you tap into the G+ selection that you chronologically made first? Thanks!

Thanks for the tips. We are traveling in May to WDW. If I book a genie plus reservation for all 4 members of our party and only 3 of us utilize the genie plus reservation. When will the clock restart? Will the family member who doesn’t ride have to wait the full 2 hours after the reservation was booked?

I purchased a 6 day park hopper plus option for my family of six. Am I able to visit a water park or golfing experience on a separate day other than when I visit a park like Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, HS, etc and it NOT count as my 6 day park hopper pass? Or am I only able to park hop from regular park to water park on the same day for 6 days? Also, if I choose to park hop from the water park in the morning to say Magic Kingdom, does it have to be after 2pm or can it be earlier since Disney does not consider the water park a "traditional park that needs reservations"? If that's the case, I do need to make a reservation at Magic Kingdom for the day BUT if I do need to make a reservation for Magic Kingdom for the rest of the day is it NOT required that I check in there before going to the water park? I hope I'm being clear...The whole water park non reservation situation is confusing me profusely and I've seen contradicting answers online on these questions. Thanks for all the help you give!!

Rider swap was limited to 2-3 additional people before the pandemic. We have a family of 7 so I know this for a fact. 7 people were never allowed to go back in.

We hopped from AK to HS and booked LL at 7am. I could NOT book my 2nd reservation until two hours after HS opened since that is where I made my first reservation. AK opened at 8am and at 10am I was NOT eligible. So the info you have is inaccurate.

Is it possible to do a video on methods to have a successful, attraction filled, day at Walt Disney World (specifically Magic Kingdom) without purchasing Genie Plus. One method may be using a custom touring plan along with the Lines app. Another could be rope drop and hit certain attractions, then check wait times, etc. What works best and what is the data behind that reasoning?

Question, sorry if i missed this, so lets say you are staying off property, and want to buy ILLs for FOP at DAK and then 7DMT for the same day, and lets pretend it's super low crowds so both ILLs are available longer than a few minutes at 7:00am, you could buy FOP when DAK opens at 730am, but then do you have to wait until 9am to book 7DMT? or is it based on whatever your first park opens at?

Thanks for posting Becky! I know you’re busy but maybe you could just offer your opinion since it’s somewhat related. We last went to the parks fall of 2019. I have two little kids. I think we’d like to buy Genie+ in Hollywood Studios. However we’ll be doing rider swap since so many rides have height requirements. I guess I’m trying to decide, since I’m not sure we’ll get many attractions since they sell out so fast, is Rise of the resistance worth it? We’ve never rode but would it eat up too much time considering how long the attraction is and the fact that we have to do rider swap - so double the time or pay ? Thank you!

Let’s say you start at EPCOT, have park hopper and genie plus, and book first afternoon attraction for Hollywood Studios at 7am.. Can you book your next selection at 9am? Or do you have to wait till park opens at 10am?

We have 2 families going with separate reservations. Can we select 2 genie + rides at a time and attach all 10 people to each ride, thus doubling our genie+ selections?

Question: only part of my party wants to rope drop AK. All of our party will be heading to HS in the afternoon. So I will have AK reservation but some will have HS reservation. When we are stacking genie selections for HS, will I be able to make selections for our entire group 2 hours after AK opens?

My husband and I will be booking Genie plus for both of us but he does not like all the same rides. For example he doesn’t like Splash Mountain, could I go through and then check back in with his band to ride again.

If you are booking a Genie + and individual LL reservation at the same time at 7:00 am can both phone have the same account or does it need to be a different account in each app?

So I’ve heard videos say that if you get a LL reservation and start your 2 hr timer then wait to get your second LL right before tapping into your first reservation, you can then tap in and once tapped in get another LL because you tapped in triggering the when you use it rule. Is this accurate?
