Genie and Jafar 

That's Dylan White as the Genie. He recently posted a TikTok video about this. Apparently this was Lance Roberts' final performance as Jafar before going to Broadway to play the King of Cartoons and voice Globey in the Pee-wee Herman show, so Dylan sent him off by riffing every joke they did over the years. The "old man shuffle" was a bit that Tim Conway did on the Carol Burnett show to make Harvey Korman break character, and turns out it made Lance break too!

Love the Globey and King of Cartoons jokes! :P For those who don't know, the actor playing Jafar was leaving the show. He went on to Broadway to play the King of Cartoons at Pee-Wee's Playhouse show.

It is just me, or when the Genie says all the "Ursula being hot!" line...Jafar turns at him several times with a giggle of being "blushed", as if it was true? If that's the case, that Jafar is a freakin' genius (HAH! Get it? Genie? Genius?...I will go away now...). This duo definitely stole the night!

From Lance Roberts' Facebook: This is supposed to be afour line scene, but......Right before I left to do King of Cartoons ( and voice Globey) in the Pee Wee show on Broadway, the Genie decided to include those characters and every last Genie joke from my 7 1/2 years in "Aladdin". Yes, I broke...a little! He's now doing Cat on a Hot Tin Roof with Scarlett Johnanson on Broadway after roles in Sister Act and Ghost The Musical.

OMG This went on for so long that Aladdin, The Guards, The Genie, The Rug, and everyone else was laughing so hard!

i love the voldemort reference, "you're so mean that you make voldemort look like a boy scout!"

@tinx442 He was saying "Oh who am I kidding? You're mean to everyone. You're mean to me, you're mean to Aladdin, you're mean to that bird. Don't you know about the bird!? The bird......is the word." And then he goes on singing. :) The Ursula joke had all the cast laughing! If you watch Aladdin, you'll see him look back to the gaurds and then put his head down because he's trying to hide the fact that he can't keep a straight face. :D

@Andiana I believe it was because it was the last show before it closed until October 7th. I'm guessing he wanted to go out with a bang!

@kingdomheartsbby because the show was originally going to close on August 15, some of the actors made other commitments before it was announced that the show would extend its run. that Jafar just happened to be one of them :/

@kingdomheartsbby Yeah, he was an awesome Jafar - and was there since the show opened in 2003! But playing in a big show in Broadway is a great opportunity for any actor. And he makes a great King of Cartoons! I was able to see the show during the previews at the Nokia Theatre.

@kurzendagamingwonder I believe he was actually laughing, but trying to make it look like it was part of the performance. The snorting could highly possibly be me in the background or someone in the audience.

@Fiyeroni awww lame! He gave up Jafar to perform for Pee-wee? He was everyone's favorite too. Understandable though, but a shame. He was great!
