Genius Craftsman Making Wheel Spanner From Old Axle Rod in Local Factory | Amazing Mechanics #genius #craftsman #making #wheel #spanner #from #old #axle #rod #local #factory #amazing #mechanics
Yeah you'd think they could make themselves a wheelbarrow and maybe a table or something or at least a stand for their anvil. Working while sitting in the dirt sucks ass.
Who's going to get wiped out first, the guy getting his lungs destroyed cutting the axles with the friction saw or the forge press operator going blind by molten steel?
Why are all these videos genius or creative or some such bullshit. These people are workers doing a job they've been trained to do. That said I respect them for their hard work and skill under conditions that will probably kill them at a young age compared to workers in any western country.
The answer is simple. People get sucked into watching videos with grand titles, pure and simple. The person posting these videos understands that very well. Having said this "welcome to the club of I was suckered into watching this video".
Not true Andy. These people are working under a system of no government support and for minimal profit margins, which I imagine go to the owners who put no more into their shops than necessary. Keep in mind Pakistan has extremely cheap labor. The shop would not even have large die presses if the owner thought they could pound them out by hand, but time is money.
This shop needs a large punch & shear for cutting the shaft to size.. quicker and easier than using the oxy and friction saw. Also the socket should be forged directly on the long shaft thus making it stronger and saving time. Reusing the axle shafts to make these is a great idea otherwise. Good video, look forward to seeing more.
Forging the socket directly on the long shaft would achieve a stronger result, but it would require an elaborate jig, and the press would have to be raised a yard higher off the floor to accommodate it . My guess is that this work shop does other things apart from making wheel nut spanners . They are probably just fulfilling a transient order, and will be making something else soon, therefore re jigging just to make these spanners in one piece is not an option.
@@graememorris7820 ok, I can get behind that because I was wondering, hopefully they have more stamps than just one socket size???? They can do whatever they want with the axle shafts I guess, but I would just sell customers more size sockets! I saw a video of this Pakistani guy opening up a brand new rebuild kit for a truck..... Brand new pistons and sleeves, but I'm naive to these countries..... why do they have access to a brand new rebuild kit but not much access to brand new tools......
When you get a flat on you 10 wheeler, there is no service truck. No compressed air, no impact wrench. Grab your ball buster and get busy. Needs to be strong as a long pipe is placed over it for leverage. One axle, one wrench, great recycle. Cheers.
@from the dark side of the moon doesn’t have to look safe to be safe. Anyone that’s worked on heavy equipment can attest that at some point they’ve broken a tool or piece of equipment that “looked safe”. You work with what you have. If you can afford better tooling and safer looking equipment I’m sure all those guys would accept it.
This is how we can get the best out of what we have ! These people can teach the west about how to recycle and to avoid wastage. Thanks for sharing; these people are craftsmen .
Tudo manual completamente diferente do Brasil.
This shop needs a bit of structure. Everything is so scattered and definitely not time efficient at all. I don't think I could handle working in a shop that is disorganized. That would drive me crazy.
The reason behind that many little transports between phases have to do with where the owner of the next machine lives. In some cases, there is not a big factory scheme, but a group of people with different means combined to get a final product. Being this group in the same street or village, old guild style that spreads the works, and the income among more people at the expense of efficiency. It would be no surprising to see child labour, as normal part of the apprenticeship of the family business as, to certain extent, some of us did. Coul it de filmed in Pakistan?
I was once given a cheap Chinese cruciform lug wrench as a gift. First time I tried to use it on a stuck wheel lug, it twisted up like half of a hakenkreus. Safe to say that one wasn't hardened either.
I’m kind of shocked I have never seen anybody in these videos sweat even when they are working around all that heat I have never seen one sweat, let me know if it’s only me ? ✝️✝️✝️
The way they organize everything and how they do so with little machinery. That is the genius. Even the knowledge of how best to use the tool, isn't an easy skill
listen to the boss,,,,, don't forget to stop by for black coffee together... goes duit and goes natural so that you will increase your enthusiasm for work and add brothers thank you very much
