In these videos, we showed you how to make foam spray yourself at home, just like at car washes. If you don't want to spend money on car washes and want to make your own foam gun at home, be sure to watch this video.
@@Aussiedave54 Dude that’s obvious but the concept of spraying out of a weed sprayer is great, maybe washing the car with dish soap is not a great idea but everything else is.
Try this instead. Get one of them 1 gallon jugs the garden center has for spreading lawn fertilizer. The type your hose connects onto with a controller valve. Fill it with your soap. It throws out soapy wash better then the car wash.
Good idea, but never ever using washing up detergent on your car. It will strip any wax or polish protection you have on there, and leave it more likely to rust.
does not lead to rust, it barely removes wax, just wipe down the car with a spray wax and you're all good, people overreact with soap removing wax, its always good to remove old sealants and apply new ones every so often, not the end of the world.
Washing up liquid is a degreaser, it pulls the oils out of the item it's ment to be cleaner, I'm not really up on paint containing oils but the rubber seals and plastic trims certainly will... Ok for a get out of jail but not as a frequent use product, far better to use snowfoam as that's what it was designed for
I bought today contactless car shampoo and a 2 liter pump sprayer. No foam. I saw this video, I made the same process, and the foam is perfect now. Thanks! It worked!
Same boat here. don't really understand what that hole in the outlet pipe does and what effect does the scrub pad have when the cleaning liquid passes through it at the nozzle...
Salt! Are you serious? Get facts before making a comment. 15-30% Anionic Surfactants, 5-15% Non-Ionic Surfactants, Benzisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Phenoxyethanol, Perfumes, Limonene.
@@bendude6748 Yes indeed!!! Removes the clearcoat as it's too agressive! I really don't understand why people use dishsoap to wash the car as it's way more expensive than a simple car wash shampoo
Gave a try on my cheap foam bottle that came with the pressure washer and unfortunately didn't work out. Probably I have poorly insert that little piece of kitchen wrap and completely blocked the hole, and end up buying a dedicated foam bottle which I intended to anyway.
I get all my detailing gear from CleanHD online. They are only on eBay from what I can see but their products are amazing. Don’t use washing up liquid 😰
Also ohne Erklärungen nicht sehr hilfreich.
That scowering pad has an abrasive grit to it...should wash it out first before spray ya car ....needs a rub down with a was cloth anyways to get dirt n grime off
I think there are some pH neutral plant based washing liquids. but yeah, i wouldnt do this to my car. Kranzle 1152 pressure washer with PF22 foam cannon is what i use.
All these people saying dish soap will destroy paintwork, in 20 years I have never had any issues with paint or rubber seals etc when using dish soap on cars that aren't waxed etc, just the bare paint or clear coat. So yes, use dish soap all you want, it's better than nothing, especially in areas where roads are treated with salt in winter....... My father is an automotive painter and deals with £50-60,000 motor homes on a daily basis, we still use dish soap if we have run out of car shampoo, or wash and wax....
