i feel like its hard to change the overtime mechanic from blizzard's perspective. theres barely any feedback about it. not enough complaints and thus not the priority at all. I feel like what u say about a single person being able to just infinitely prolong it is right and it shouldnt be possible, even if ive had my fun intense moments trying to survive as lifeweaver on point and the ones where it actually worked out. Maybe a single person should just slow down the countdown like 50%, 2 people 95% and 3+ people just reset it to the maximum like currently. But its just too niche of a problem. I dont even care and enjoy it sometimes, except when its just a mei ice cubing or a ball being ball
