If youre wondering abut zarya since they missed her, yes, Genji can deflect her ult. It will be treated as Genji's projectile and will backfire just like Mei's ult.
@@purplewine7362 nah lol it happens all the time, a McCassidy or Zarya uses ult, and it gets perfectly deflected by a genji lmao, always happens with uncoordinated wasting ults
I like to imagine the extra arms Genji has during the animation isn't him moving really fast, and that they're actual extra arms like what Zenyatta (Genji's mentor) has.
doubt its possible, but not quite impossible, just like Nicholas said, nano is some sort of fast projectile, you can pres Q as ana and she will throw it but if you die, it wont hit actually, and your ult is wasted
As a Genji player, it is 100% possible although tricky to deflect Zarya's (ult) Grav Surge. Make sure she's done about 1.7k-2k damage from the start of the match and deflect about .5-1.5 meters from her whenever you see her get close or more aggressive in a team fight. It pays off quite well if you can charge up your blade prior!
Bastion ult is a projectile. Dva (and sigma and orisa) can eat it, shields can block it, genji can deflect it. It does 600 damage on direct impact I think and it can also headshot for double that.
i believe they should make it so we can deflect while in his dragon blade mode, and that the deflect during it can deflect anything even if it's not projectiles (cuz normal deflects only works with projectiles)
With this logic in mind, I hate that literally anything with a pixel of a hit box can cut your ult short as kiriko, like why can the push robot cut it short? It’s a spirit fox? Why can’t it just go through stuff?
I actually did not even consider trying to deflect bastion ult. Surprised I learned something from this. I would love if Kiriko ult could be deflected but it just doesn't make sense. It's like a matrix she creates, the fox is just an animation that's part of the ult. It would be like being able to deflect hanzo's ult by jumping up and deflecting the flying dragon instead of the arrow itself. If Kiriko shot a kunai to unleash her ult or something then it would make sense. Like mei throwing snowball to activate blizzard. Nice video
I think i have came up with a decent buff for genji. Deflending during an ult can deflect things like kirikos fox and hanzos dragons after they leave the arrow.
the reason i think the fox cant be deflected is because what would happen if a genji deflected it at the very end of its path, would both teams then have a kiriko ult?
It would be cool if genji could deflect kiriko ult but only if his dragon blade is out. Bc 2 spirits and how he uno reversed card hanzo in the cinematic.
TLDR: genji can deflect every projectile in any shape or form Exept stigmas rock throw attack. It obeys the Same rules as sigmas absorbtion and dva defense matrix and also orisa staff spin move
I always felt id be so cool if you could deflect Moiras ,I mean like id be nice if you could deflect ''stronger'' stuff with your dragonblade ,instead of the tanto
cassidy does take reduced damage while in high noon, it will keep stacking damage even once skull is reached. Plus look at the video, cassidy is at 44 hp after shot is reflected. 1:39
Something funny I saw here 3:35 is that you tried to deflect de Fox, but the fox is just decoration, what defines how much does the path go is the same path, btw nice video (Keereeko made me spit my water... Thx)
@OhDough So another thing you can show the people is that he can deflect a lot more ultimate's when Genji deflects while nanoboosted. This is very rare to see it in regular play but if a Genji is nanoboosted and dva bomb is Infront of him and deflects, he takes no damage, and does not get stunned during a Reinhart ult.
Whats crazy is This video showed up in my feed and I started listening like, This dude reall sounds like Ohdough, but ohdough doesn't play overwa.. Oh snap it's him.
