Genki is the reason why Japan is homeland of mma. Every fighter should be as creatinve and as busy and the ground as him. every mma fighter should make look fight as art.
Just finished watching this and wanted to say that Genki embodies the spirit of his nickname. He has a samurai's fighting heart, and his philosopher mind. A true inspiration.
"If people live in the moment, suffering and doubt will dissapear. Suffering occurs when thinking of the past or the future. I'm thirsty. To live this moment, may I have a cafe au lait?" -Genki Sudo such a awsome guy LOL
@subslament Wow. Thank you for doing a favor for the world and posting up such an epic documentary. I'm sorry to tell you this, but my trainer let me know about Genki Sudo. He was in the bathroom when he read a sign saying "Always Move Forward". He retired from MMA, and started to fight crime at night as a masked defender. He also has the power of slowly reversing pollution. To this day, Genki Sudo is saving the world one step at a time.
thanks for this series, never got to see Genki fight live... he was before my time in MMA. Hopefully he has one more fight left in him. His insights, while weird, are very cool and explain a bit of his showmanship.
I think these 5 parts are only about 40 minutes of the original documentary, which is 65 minutes long. It's available to buy online, but I don't think it's subtitled. Someone fansub please!
he could have done SERIOUS damage if he would have put on about 25-35lbs of muscle and put his ass in UFC more. no one is sure how to fight him. and that is what gives him such an advantage.
