I love how Japan made all of their fighters, no matter where they were from or what record they had, feel like superstars walking to the ring. Simply awesome.
I know, right? I saw in their credits that he did a bit of everything, including all the music and lyrics, and I was like, "Oh, cool, I wonder if he went to school for all this, let me look up his Wikipe... he's a politician? The fuck? Wait, he's a FIGHTER, too? The FUCK? Known for his elaborate entrances... this I gotta see... ok yeah, this checks out." XD
He is the only guy in the UFC I've ever seen walk out with a dance crew and I thought it was really cool. Maybe others did it too idk but that one time stood out to me and it was years ago already
Say what you will about Anderson Silva or Conor McGregor; no one in the history of combat sports mindfucks his opponent before (and during) a fight quite like Genki Sudo.
These are really well executed which means he must have rehearsed them. I'm just trying to imagine doing that fight week when a fighter must have a thousand other things on their mind.
The most epic part about his entrances is that he never lost the eye of the tiger, I mean you can see the focus and the hungry in his eyes even while doing those fancy and funny moves before the fights. You see, he is never smiling, his mindset is the one of a warrior about to battle, yet he is dancing lmfao. Been a fan of this man for years and yes, too bad he is no longer a fighter.
Sometimes people write, "aaaa 6 pixels, blaaaa..", but it's quite ok anyway. This here, this shit right here. It's madness, one, two ,three, fo... 3.5 pixels total, wow!
If someone in the the UFC was to do a fun entrance like one of these and still be able to win the fights they'd make it to the top pretty fast. I think the crowd would love it tbh
My face right now- eyes wide open, mouth is saying “oh my fucking god this is the greatest video on earth” but I’m not making any sound. This all actually happened. Someone asks about Genki about his job: “hold my beer”
