Costing 199 USD, I find this mini pc very good for the money.
It's got a decent CPU along with a rare option of having 2 NVMe slots.
AND it has an aluminum chassis.
All for 199 USD.

I have bought this one but encountered a problem...installed with win 11 but keep crashing when i check the event viewer it has an event log error id 86. Search on google and they say it about the drivers....I just would like to ask if you have encountered this one and may i know where I can download all the drivers of the installed hardware on this mini computer?

Nope, I haven't experienced any errors on my part.

I had this problem. Try disabling the automatic turn off screen and sleep mode in energy setting. Set High Performance Power Plan. Disable hard disk auto turn off.

you wrote that you would prefer it instead of the N100. how much different is their power consumption? during idle and load. The beelink mini s12 pro with N100 consumes about 10 watts without load. does it heat up a lot?

The BIOS has three Pstate options: 0, 1, and 2. At zero which is unrestricted power, the power consumption will go up to 40w at full. The fan curve, which you cannot modify at all, is set to very aggressive to keep the CPU under 60c. I am using Pstate 2 which brings down max clock for the CPU to 2.3 GHZ and will use around 20watt at full. This has a benefit of taming the aggressive fan. Even at Pstate 2, the machine feels snappier than N100. In my opinion, there is a large gap between N95/N100 and the next grade CPU in mini PC market. I think 4500u fills the gap nicely. I don't need the power of a better CPU like 5600H or 1250H (intel) but I want something better than N95/N100. Finally, the sandblasted aluminum chassis feels really nice to touch.

@@geekdkThank you for helping me decide. I couldn't find a comparison of mini PCs with these processors. 20 watts under load is not bad. I am also inclined to buy a 4500U, but I want to understand how much more the 4500U consumes than N100 in idle mode or basic file operations. And how much stronger does it warm up in idle time

N100 is a 6watt TDP CPU. No matter what, 4500u is going to consume more, probably twice at the least. At idle, I reckon, it will be identical. But, as soon as any sort of load is on, it is going to consume more. If power consumption is your absolute top priority, then I suggest sticking with N100. But compared to N95 (15w tdp), I'd choose 4500u over N95 any day even if it costs a bit more.

my 3400G consumes 15w (cpu only) while watching a 1080p video (bios settings are default) To be clear, I don't have a dedicated GPU
