Question: I have a dedicated 1inch NG line coming off the meter. If I run these parallel will I have sufficient supply (pressure) by simply installing a “T” that splits to two (2) 1/2inch quick connects? I want this set up cause it will handle my winter needs with one unit then run two in parallel when cycling thru out four (4) A/C units in summer. PLUS, if one of the generators gets “sick”? I got a backup! Thanks so much for your efforts in these videos. I am a new subscriber and am finding your channel to be very balanced and quite helpful! well done….
Yes that is more than enough for both gen in parallel I hope you consider buying them from my website www.gavins-garage.com/product/genmax-gm10500ietc-tri-fuel-portable-inverter-generator/
How does it work? The current from the gen on the left passes thru that cable and out the receptacle of the other gen? You connected the parallel cables after they were running? Is that the proper way? Wouldn’t they be out of sync and that could cause issues? Never messed with parallel portables, just trying to learn.
Both Inverter’s are basically gridtie inverters meaning that they will sync up with the other generator. Once you connect the power cable, the inverters will take off and share the load.
Love your store! Is the parallel connector the same on the 7250iEDC? Can a 7250iEDC be paralleled to GM10500iETC? Thanks! Edit: Looks like the Genmax website says the parallel kit GM9000PK will connect to both, but feel free to confirm.
New subscriber, searching for my 1st generator. I have a few questions, hopefully you can help. I have a 1,300 sq ft townhouse with one 2 ton a/c unit. Will one of these allow me to run my entire home? I have a tuck under garage and was planning on building a sealed shed with a baffeled vent system outside for two reasons - 1) keep the noise down for my neighbors 2) security. All of the generator sheds I see on RU-vid, they have a vent for the exhaust and one for the generator? Wouldn't the vent be sufficient enough to vent the exhaust too? I plan on wifi CO and temp monitors inside and outside the shed for safety. The shed would be vented outside the garage through a glass block window.
So I noticed when one generator is running, you’re getting 240 volts. However when you parallel and have both running, both generators change to 120 volts. When they are paralleled and both putting out 120 volts, are the two generators still out putting a true 240 or is it 120 volts in the same phase?
So I have this generator and can't get a 50 amp generator chord to seat correctly in the 50amp outlet. The ridge below it protrudes so the plug will not seat. Can't find an inline 50 amp male plug chord.
@@GeneratorReviewsso for a home application paralleling two of these I would only be able to get 12,500 on a single 50amp inlet plug because of the cable itself?
Hey Gavin, I have 2 Honda 7000 Watt generators, and I want to know if I can use the L14-30 from each unit to the transfer switch on my food trailer? This would be using a y-adapter with 2 L14-30P to SS2 50R. PLEASE PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF THIS IS POSSIBLE. THANK YOU.
One of these generator can power your central AC with a soft start or your central heater with absolutely no problem you don’t have to parallel with the 10,500W.
