With abel ggg was almost only throwing big punches. Now he make more combinations, is faster and have better movement. The ko power he possesses already.
The Rainmaker 69 is that why clenelo alvaroids 🥩💉don’t want to fight him now?? And clenelo couldn’t knock triple g in he’s prime now and triple g is 37 lol and he was taking he’s punches like it was nothing lol , look u tweak lol triple g has never been knocked down and never will be kid he has the hardest chin in boxing 🥊 canelos gonna wait another 2 3 years until triple g gets more older lol
The loss and the switch to Jonathan is probably the best outcome for triple g at this point. He's more motivated now and im sure he knows he's been wasting his prime fighting in a way that he hadn't been used too
introducing 513 facts ggg was eating allot of Mexican food it does bloat you up I’m Mexican so I would know the stuff is very good but when you’re trying to make weigh it’s not worth it
@@Lemon-rk9hq I ate Mexican food too my neighbors were Mexican and they stayed cooking out and throwing me beer food fruit drinks and so on but didn't let me talk to their daughter though lol
He looks maybe faster than with Abel but not fast like when he first got to Abel. Guess you can't expect that with a 37 year old athlete so all things considered, I was very pleased with what I saw. The big question though, will it still look like this in the ring after coming down from high altitude, and then making weight? And if it doles at the 164 pound catch weight vs his next opponent, it doesn't mean it will at 160 vs Canelo in the fall. GGG's form could have been suffering because of Abel, or because of high altitude training, or because of the weight cut, or because of age, or any combination of those four things. Without some sort of sports scientist in camp to really pinpoint which it is before a third Canelo fight, GGG will kind of be going into that fight blind, especially if that's his first fight *at 160* with Jonathan Banks.
A lot more head movement. He always looked very static when working on the pads with Abel. The focus seemed to be on power aswell rather than speed, which he now needs
Hey guys, don't go Cummin all over yourself, I don't take anything away from the trainer, very good, it's going to take 3G at least 3-4 fights before he can actually apply it to his boxing skills. 3G always had a very good jab and his head movement, good, but once he goes in the ring things do change, he would automatically go the way he knows how to fight, which is not bad, it will take time
@@alekl.8403 Abel is a dimwit. Gave nothing to Golovkin. He was what he was without Sanchez. Sanchez just held him back and turned on him when it mattered most.
Joseph Rudowicz if abel was such a bum why would golovkin stay with him for 9 years? In that case golovkin is the dumb one for not switching trainers earlier. Its obvious abel is a great trainer
@@alekl.8403 I never said he was a "bum." Gennady figured if it ain't broke don't fix anything. But him even thinking Canelo may have won was the last straw. If he was so great, why is everybody leaving him?
I've seen GGG's pad workouts for a bit now and I think this is the first time i've consistently seen him throw jabs .It was always abel making him throw big hooks
Yea able did turn him into that caveman tempo style. Banks may be what ggg needs to bring back out that ggg Olympic technique, and hopefully still mixes the power abel worked on too. A mix of both can get the belts back. Shall see
hard to say what he does because most boxers dont train the same way they do off cameras. this is more for show then actual training from the cameras. remember mayweather before fights when he use to train for the cameras .even though this looks a little more intensed then mayweather did for the cameras doesnt really showcase what boxers secrets are off camera. but hes passed his prime his style is not a style that can last too long but i respect him for definietly being a elite boxer. also anyone with decent boxing skills can put on a show like this for a couple of minutes.but the question is how will he react for 12 rounds?i like triple ggg but his time is gradually coming to a end even if he has a couple of fights left.with older legs with boxers who once used to be fast defense and technique is more important then being more of a offense fighter.triple g cant keeel that style up with old lege moving forward sacrificing getting hit just to hit his opponent for to long
This is a good move. He beats Jacobs in a rematch easily. Stewart’s protege has the goods. Old school boxing: speed, timing and distance. Never plays out. That’s the science. GGG is smart.

Another fine case of judging a book by its cover, she's not your typical ring girl. That is Billie Joe Powers....she is a huge boxing fan and knows a lot about the sport and many great fighters, next time do some research pal.
@Christian C| 😂😂😂ducking Charlo (overrated) hahaaaa... GGG beat the likes of lemieux and brook. He's like 36 or 37 (getting older), he doesn't need to prove himself to get a shot. Both fights were controversial.
Canelo never won a damn thing--except for Adalaide Turd's promise to rig her scorecard after Canelo ass-raped her into fearful submission the night before the fight. Golovkin is still the undefeated champion! Period! End of story!
Jerrick Johnson let people nitpick. golovkin looks glorious, goddamnit. i refuse to let the ever present "i will attempt to discredit yr opinion in some form or fashion" standard yt'er comments take away anything from this great video.
Personally I think it's a little too much unnecessary head movement, as you get older you need to fight smarter and conserver some energy head movement is great but at the right time. I do admit it's better than how Abel had ggg with zero head movement though.

So thuddingly powerful yet so crisp. This is by far the best I’ve seen GGG on the pads and maybe the best I’ve seen anyone on them. I think he might beat Canelo by knockout with this style. Ultra impressive.
The head movement of ggg is on point, and his combinations got better this is actual boxing with this new style no one will touch him during the fights awesome head movement. Let's go GGG!!!
Ray Be kind to others, it goes a long way 37 is nothing? Ur obviously stupid lol the age 37 don’t go for everyone some may feel good at 37 and strong and some can get weak and slower! Don’t bullshit me here
Man are my eyes fooling me or is GGG looking amazing. I cant fucken believe my eyes how great hes moving and snapping those pads...OUCH! He is actually looking like the 25 yr old he claims he feels like.
GGG looks lighter on his feet. With Abel he was flat footed throwing power shots. This trainer Is getting GGG to box. Even with the language limitations they work good together.
This is the GGG I thought I was going to see in second Canelo fight but better late than never on the trainer change. Abel is a great coach but Johnathon is exactly what GGG needs for these young athletic fighters coming up in his division. Not looking too good for the Charlo bros.
I'm so happy to see this. I hope we can see a little sparring session of him before the fight coming up. With his head movement, speed and combinations
Hell yea , great combinations , I'm glad he switched trainer , I feel abel was only having him throw big hooks no combinations.. and his head movement is good also , looks fast time to display this on June 8
Damn man. He looks way better here than I've ever seen him on pad work. Even though he's a little older now and towards the end of his career he's lookin really good here. Smooth, fluid, good movement and quick. He's a beast man. Still looks good despite the age. We'll see how he looks in the fight.
@@joza3077 I meant more Canelo GGG 3. Canelo has always been his toughest fight, let's see how it plays out in their third bout...to see if the trainer change actually helps.
Tripple G looks way better i think this new coach will take him to another level its always good to learn new techniques and moves switch things up a bit cant wait to see you in action tripple G champ!!
Ngl never been a big GGG fan but I kinda missed this guy in the sport, brings excitement. Hope he gets all his belts back and become a beast again. He looks like killer here
From the moment i saw ggg throwing that one punch only i see their is a different changes man go move with new coach Jonathan banks #worldchampionagain now it’s boxing skill not only power
This is nice, ggg is naturally a big hitter and in his early career broke guys down before taking them out, but Abel just turned him into someone loading up with the ability to absorb big shots. First time I have seen him straight jab to the body to, and that sweet left straight jab and dart straight combos are spot on
