And notice that everyone did their jobs as needed. Nobody tried to be a "Lonewolf." Nobody said "Hey, protocol says we have to talk to the natives. Or, let's check out that old abandoned mine." They trusted their gut and trusted each other. And everyone made it home.
@@randomstranger9674 This is probably why I think terror movies makes fun of your intelligence, they are like "oh, that almost unkillable and unstopable monster is killing us 1 x 3, you know what can be a great idea? let 's split! so it can kill us 1x1"
Plus, you'll notice they had an APC, body armor, and serious weapons with them. If our horror movies are true think of what they've had to fight...... Which is why they called in a planet cracker. Only way to be sure is to nuke it from orbit.
The truly scary thing is that the Terran found real world examples from our horror movies and fiction. The fliers from Pitch Black. The Thing....The Blob....Invasion of the Body Snatchers...Aliens.... Apparently our horror writers are clairvoyant. No wonder they sent a full combat team with an APC.
Hey some people do hypothosize that if there are multiple/parallel worlds the human subconscious is actually viewing portions of some of those worlds when we are use our imaginations either when we are dreaming or when we come up with such stories.
Well. That was absolutely horrifying. Good thing everyone but Snitch is genre savvy and Snitch was smart enough to follow his team’s lead. Normally barricading in the basement is a pretty bad idea but this time it was the best idea. Also good plan to not take the possibly compromised shuttle back to the ship. As it is I hope they abandoned the APC just in case.
The fact that I could see Cortez getting ready with a grin when he was called out at the end was "Chefs.Kiss" attention to detail. I'm dying laughing and still want a whole hell of a lot more. I see future episodes where we find out some of the discovered alien horrors!
From the title, i was expecting all the aliens gathered together to watch Star Wars, but what I got instead was some Dead Space ? Left4Dead ? jumpscare. I did not need sleep tonight anyway.
A sensible Story. Find Galactic Horror, don't argue, dont't try to make Friends and don't try to understand them. Call a Planetcracker and be done with it. Love it.
Here is a like and comment for the story, for entertaining me, to help your channel grow, to appease the great and powerful RU-vid algorithm demon, and get you the recognition you deserve.
@poiujnbvcxdswq also, for clarity, the bumps on a giraffe's head are not horns. they are called ossicones, which is the term for a subdermal bony protrusion.
I am thinking it is some kind of murderous, alien, elder-thing cryptid that vaguely resembles a colossal starfish made out of the bones of Stelos cultists, with way too many toothy maws on its underside.
Great story; Excellent narration! I thought, for sure, the Sarge was going to say... "We call in a Dreadnought and nuke'm from orbit. Its the only way to be sure." LOL!!!
Dang I missed the Premiere while doing yard work but it's really funny that this story popped up just as I started playing the first Dead Space game again.
I'm with snitch I very much want to know more about the beast its made of living bits of smaller organisms how does it work I'm so confused but I do love it
I was expecting some kind of stinger at the end. Something like the team taking the surviving Stelos with them, and it turning on them while they escaped in their spacecraft, or the team's resident alien unwittingly taking some unknown item with them that eventually turned them one-by-one into "night knockers".
@artyd42 that is true .but I mean more in like ...it's more an animal than a planet while being registered as a planet lol. Like the giant bug in starship troopers . I should have clarified .
