I definitely agree, this Dain quest was very light. I think the only important lore information we got was the names of the sinners from Dain, and that was it. It seemed to just be about the siblings meeting which was cute but, wasn't enough for me to feel satisfied. It was pretty short, and for quest lines that only come out almost once a year, I wish they were a good bit longer.

I believe our twin's plan, as radical as it may seem, might be the only way to help the khaenriahns suffering from the curse. As someone who had to bear that agony, Caribert sympathized with them. I have a feeling that even though Caribert himself is very kind, he understood that what the the "prince" is doing, maybe the final resort, hence he aided in the completion of the loom. Ofcourse being able to soothe the hilichurls is an added bonus. I firmly believe that IF caribert did not have utmost trust in Aether's judgement, he would have never helped in the completion of the loom, he just seems way too kind for that. So either Aether has managed to sway caribert into it(doesn't seem likely..so far Aether does not come off as a manipulative type..he seems earnest in what he is trying to do) OR both Aether and Caribert agree that having a loom of fate may be the only way to escape the curse Celestia placed on them..and they need to do it fast before the Heavenly Principles awakens.

It still feels weird to me how our Abyss sibling is still non-chalant about meeting us after 500 years. And the way they were showing it is like the people of Abyss/Khaenriah, like Caribert, is more important to him than us. 27:30 Here he was saying he hate the Heavenly Principles bcoz of what happen with Caribert, instead of us getting separated and kidnapped by the Heavenly Principles.

26:28 Agreed, i believe there is no overlap mainly because, none of the archons have taken an active interest in abyss order. they are such a big threat and yet no archon is pursuing it? Its very sus, its almost as if the archons feel guilty for what happened to them 500 years ago, and as such are steering clear from their path. Not only that, they are also denouncing their gnosis, aka cutting ties with celestia one by one...Focalors even went and gave back the entire authority of Hydro and Primordial Sea to its original wielder, the Hydro dragon sovereign, one of the first nemesis of Primordial One when he arrived. Like this is totally a "flagrant" display of rebellion. Not to mention, Tsaritsa is preparing to launch a war with Celestia..like bruh. 5 out of seven archons so far have cut their ties with celestia. 7th is preparing for a war openly. I wonder what stance Natlan's Archon is taking. I feel this Snezhnaya chapter is where everything will clash together before we prepare to embark on our journey to Celestia, as both abyss order and Fatui have the same enemy...Celestia. My theory is they both have the common enemy, but both are looking forward for a different future and that's why abyss order and Fatui are not working together(i mean there are no mentions of them being in cahoots with each other). I feel Aether wants to bring the old order back revive the "homeland". While Tsaritsa wishes to destroy the "old world". We don't know what the 'old world" is, but i feel both have a different visions of the future. Perhaps Aether is hoping to get rid of all Gods/elemental power to bring back his homeland Khaenriah, that entirely thrived on technology and not divine blessings. While Tsaritsa envisions the world as it is now, but with a new leadership, where the fate is not so convulated and twisted. They both refuse to accept the superiority of the Heavenly Principles yet have not come into agreement regarding what shape the future shall take.

I don't seem to recall why we are against the abyss order. In the beginning they tried to sway Dvalin and Venti didn't like it. But after that they seem to only have disagreement with Dain, and we just happen to side with Dain every time. Their ends are unclear to us and their means are... not necessarily in our way? The only question she cared to ask was why her brother wouldn't leave with her. It kinda reveals how she sees Teyvat despite how she may appear in front of others in this world.

Atp I'm more mad at Dain than Aether for how he keeps bailing on us. Also, if we're not gonna have high expectations for his quests, then why are we even anticipating their release each year? We're two nations away from the endgame and we have learned nothing its seriously pathetic and embarrassing for Lumine. As for why the two storylines never intersect, I think its because the only time they did was in Mondstadt, and ever since then Aether has pushed the Abyss away from our path, but considering how close we are getting to the end I hope things start to heat up more and the two storylines start to collide.

i still cant believe they thought it was a good idea that they forget that they meet, like the quest would be just better if they dont do that. Specially since now we as players know more than the main character does,and usually is either we knew the same or less than them. other than that i guess the Sinners stuff is the information we got, but its just 2 random names and 3 we already knew, nothing really tangible
