I was there a few years ago. The car park smelled like pee. The entire development looked low end inside and out. Every roof top was covered with rubbish. I didn't know what to say to my foreign friends. Hope things have improved.
Even with the construction unfinished are there enough other interesting things to see in Genting Highlands? We plan to visit KL in November and were thinking of taking a day trip from KL. Any suggestions from locals would be much appreciated.
Dah siap dah baru ada perubahan sikit lagi canggih teknologi dia canggih satu malaysia akan datang ke genting tempat pun dah jadi perlacongan kepada seluruh dunia masa yang akan datang
jack calvin tak juga....saya naik genting slalu kalau nak rasa cuaca sejuk dan tenangkan fikiran......kadang2 duduk di kafe dekat GPO sambil tengok permandangan pun sudah cukup.
MrCT2012 become mall call sky avenue, the one ppl show a lots of led screens of Sakura scenery .maybe somewhere in other place in future as very messy now, renovate here n there. skyway station moved to sky avenue ( first world )from new terminal near awana hotel.genting premium outlet also undergo. so not really worth to go now as not much things to see unless you aim for casino.
I visited in 2000 and thought it was a real eyesore. Terrible shame to build an ugly concrete development in such a beautiful natural landscape. The buildings aren't sympathetic to the surroundings.
