Something that I’ve been told that I’ll never forget, for me it’s “Ik ben vandaag jarig” it’s Dutch for “It’s my birthday today” I am a native speaker in the Netherlands, and went to after-school Dutch classes, I went together with a friend who is from Moldova. We noticed it was someone’s birthday, with us questioning who’s it was. You see that day we had to do some tests, and when we we’re busy a girl from our class stood up and placed a cupcake on my friend’s and my table saying with a soft spoken voice “Ik ben vandaag jarig” and that was the first time when I experienced tingles with ASMR
