Congratulations! You just had the Geoff Castellucci experience!! In addition to his solo work, Geoff the is bass vocalist for the a cappella group, VoicePlay. He's got a range that tops out somewhere around A5 (if I recall correctly), and to date his lowest recorded note is an astonishing B0 (performed in the Halo Theme, with VoicePlay). And if being blessed with range for miles isn't enough, the quality of his tone is just as good high as it is low, and his control never ceases amazing me. He's an amazing artist; not only did he sing all the vocal lines on that track, but he also arranged it, directed and edited the video (one of his friends from VoicePlay did the lighting work). I hope you'll continue looking into him; it's a journey you won't regret. And while you're at it, I'd suggest VoicePlay as well. Geoff's just the gateway drug to that group, and once you start listening you'll realize that every one of them are all vocal giants.
I'm late commenting on this but when it showed up in my feed, I had to jump in. Geoff Castellucci is my very favorite singer. His range is (obviously) astonishing, but it is the purity of the tone, that drives me crazy. His most recent is Ain't No Sunshine, which is beautiful and heartbreaking. Please react to Voiceplay, the acapella group in which he sings bass. They do all genres. Most recent is Dream On (Aerosmith), hard rock. Before that, wonderful and comedic arrangement of We Don't Talk About Bruno. Anything you choose will be wonderful - promise!
Oh!Congratulations.I was one of those who asked to make a reaction. However, I asked for a reaction to the song "Far Over the Misty Mountains Cold". You'd be even more surprised there. Geoff's Castellucci's voice, deeper than the ocean, is like a warm wind and pleasantly caresses the ear.Thank you, Frank, my friend, for a great reaction!🤯👏👏👏🇷🇺
Welcome to the genius that is Geoff Castellucci. Yes it's real but it didn't happen overnight, has worked on his rante constantly for many years. Geoff has a beautiful voice, in terms of tonal quality, pitch, and articulation. It's quite stunning. Also he imparts so much emotion into everything he does. His love of singing is obvious. And if that wasn't enough he does everything, creates the arrangement, sings, harmonising with himself, films himself, then puts it all together on computer. Prepare to be amazed. He has a great sense of humour as well and he's pretty too. :)
@@THEVOCALLEXICON why won't you do more Voice Play videos ? If you want to hear some awesome bass from Geoff Castellucci you should react to Carry On My Wayward Son. His bass throughout the song is amazing. Layne, the beat boxer is amazing as well. You would think that there are real drums & bass instruments in this song. That's how good they are. Voice Play are amazing. Please do a reaction video of Voice Plays version. Thank you for your awesome reactions.
Christine - I am sure that you and I are watching all the same videos. I see your name in the comments all the time. It's good to come across another Geoff admirer.
@@SandraJB321 Absolutely. I watch Geoff and VoicePlay of course, all the times. Yes I do have other groups/singers I enjoy as well but since I found these guys everyone else has been neglected.
Welcome to the wonderful and stunning world of Geoff Castellucci. I enjoyed your trying to understand it all......it's better to just enjoy it, since Geoff is way beyond explanation. He's a gift from somewhere high in the heavens.
This was actually my first song from Geoff, and I had a similar reaction. From the beginning 15 seconds, I subbed and fell in love with his songs from then on. This song and his cover makes me feel like I'm being hugged...by his voice.
