Yes. I (for me) try to avoid to build a personal "Best of" list. I try to find categories. And this one is my favorite "Solo Geoff" work. As my favorite "Multiple Geoff" work, I chose "I see fire".☺
Such a solemn beauty. I understand that this wasn't the same setting as his High and Dry (RadioHead and different piano) but in some respects the songs conjure some of the same feelings. Oh and VoicePlay dropped Sleeping in the Cold Below today - Friday.
This is the third one in a row that he's done without multiple visual Geoff's. Each of them, Jack's Lament, Blue Christmas, and this one all lend themselves to that lonely, sad visual. I'm sure it's much easier. He had four still cameras this time, so the shoot was much easier and faster. I hope we haven't seen the last of the Geoff clones. If one Geoff is wonderul, four Geoff's are phenomenal.
Thanks for your reaction! This one has been requested by his patrons along with more piano playing for a while and he was reluctant at first. This was stunning!
It took a lot of persuading from his Patrons, but he finally recorded it! And it's just as powerful and stunning as we'd always known it could be, in Geoff's hands. This was such a powerful arrangement, with some really brilliant soundscaping. Geoff's artistry and genius knows no bounds!
Please react to Home Free's latest release Skull & Bones! This is the version where the guys are actually pirates. They've already released the lyric version & the live Ubisoft release, so this is the final one.
