Huge influence on us vocally.. and still killing it... Fkn amazing! Oh i sang with him on stage years ago at the Warfield SF. Take cover contest, doing the Sabbath song Neon knights
Even when sometimes the band sounds off the moment Geoff starts to sing it immediately sounds like Queensrÿche. Anytime I see videos of Fakeryche it just comes off as a cover band even more so no that Todd’s voice is declining.
I think Tate has been working with a vocal coach, because his voice is demonstrably better than it was a few years ago. There was a time when he would avoid all high notes, but now he's hitting them, and it sounds natural, not forced
No joke. Silver Bells... Christmas Time in the city. My cats and I moved into the upper driveway to let my mom have the house to herself. It's now Jan 15 2023 but we are keeping the silver bell and the sheep in a Manger ornament up indefinitely to spread Christmas cheer on the cat tree which a neighbor was throwing out.
Hearing I Am I makes me really miss DeGarmo. Don't mean that as a criticism of the guys in Tate's band now. But DeGarmo was a gifted songwriter that no one in rock has been able to match.

The opening stanza to a 1990 hit Queensryche song recently came to fruition, after 33 years, when the Lunar New Year Mass Shooting occurred at Monterey Park, California. According to law enforcement, 10 died and 10 others were injured in the tragic shooting. The 1990 release "Empire" begins with a distressed man's voice message and: "Last night the word came down, ten dead in Chinatown Innocent, their only crime was being in the wrong place, at the wrong time" Sadly, one of the surviving ten victims has reportedly passed, in the following days. Reportedly, the 33rd mass shooting this year.
