I remember studying the Revelation Book and the Phrase "save the olive oil and the wine" and they said it means that during the end there would be food issues. The Mormons are required to save a years worth of food and that made sense to me since all kinds of things can happen that can disrupt the normal food chain (not just end times). I've watched for years and they still say, "be window washers and carpet cleaners". It always seemed to me that the last days would be difficult and the Mormons got it right imo. They expect manna from heaven I guess. Jackson and his fellow con artists don't seem to have food issues however so they don't care.

I can't remember the number of times i have heard people refer to the list of signs Jesus supposedly gave to indicate the time of the end as written in the Bible! How is it that seemingly no one but me has noticed that Jesus never said those signs were indicative of the time of the end at all, in fact he said the exact opposite. He was warning people NOT to think that these signs indicated the time of the end. That we were not to be fooled into thinking they were. He starts out by saying "Watch out that no one deceives you.". Yet most people seem to have missed that somehow. Has no one else read the scripture with their eyes open? Jesus actually said that the signs were denoting a period of time he referred to as ".... the beginning of birth pains". Jesus did mention the time of the end, and basically said that everyone would instinctively know when it would occur, just as we know when spring is upon us. Of course the end Jesus was talking about was the end of the Jewish system, not ours. That has already happened. That is a whole other story.
