Knitting needles required are two sets of 3.5mm 100cm needles. I stock Steel, sharp steel and bamboo needles in both fixed and interchangeable styles. If you are unsure which you need I would recommend ordering 3.5mm 100cm fixed needles. You can find the link for those here:

Absolutely stunning works of art for all your shawls! I have never knitted a shawl but would really love one, but it would have to be much much simpler than any of yours. Stephen is an artist in every sense of the word & I don’t know how on earth he comes up with the variety of patterns for each one of his shawls. Looking forward to watching your progress. Love seeing your shawls and the guess for the mkal, i think he will have a half star shape so triangles on the bottom, and a pattern like inside a geode where the crystals make symmetrical shapes….. thanks also for some colour inspo.

I love your shawls. I never finished last year…I left off somewhere in the cables. I see geometric shapes coming from him this year. But it will be fun. I always thought the song was Sugar Pie Honey Bunch 😂. Thank you for adding to the fun.

What a delightful bonus episode! Gorgeous sets you've created. I need to wait a bit before I consider attempting one of Stephen's shawls. They're usually a bit much for me, but I adore seeing the clues as they come out, and all different ones everyone is making. The MKAL is a good spectator sport, too! 😋🥰

Thanks Ellie, your shawls and colours are always lovely. I have only done the Shawlography and love it and the Chrysler is on my list too. He has a wonderful design brain , that is for sure and great fun videos too.

This was a lovely video to watch Ellie comparing all the SW shawls over the years. I must confess not to be a huge fan of his designs although I do like some of the patterns. I think your colour sets are lovely and should work beautifully in any of the outrageous designs he’s sure to come up with! I shall continue to watch your videos for updates x

Looking at previous shawls, I can see lots of triangles being put together somehow, but yes, the space theme is intreaguing. Hmmm, looking forward to seeing what it is. 😆
