+theawesomeico200 Wrong persons to ask about fighting corruption. While there has been some success recently , there is still a long way to go. Our country still sucks in that aspect.
+theawesomeico200 It's not so much that Romania is better at fighting corruption than Bulgaria is, it's more like corruption in the Romanian state apparatus has grown to such proportions that it's seen as a threat to internal and external security by both the EU and NATO, so they finally started to push through a few cleanup efforts with outside support.
I have heard so many beautiful things about japan 🇯🇵 and the only way I knew about Japan is because of the popular thing there which is anime love and peace for Japan 🇯🇵 💗 from bulgaria 🇧🇬
@Nika Ustašica 96 (UNVACCINATED 1776) Hey there, Nika! To be perfectly honest, you can find plenty of things to love in aboslutelty every country around the world! We all are humans, and as such, prefer to live off each-other's happiness than each-other's sadness! This, combined with the ecapuslated geography of those regions and the alomst non-existant conatct with other ppl/ tribes in the past, means that you are likely to find a unique and beutiful local tradition, that everyone loves everywhere you look! SO instead of giving suggestions to other to visit your ansetral home, how about you go and visit some placaes you've never been to - it's a lot easier than it sounds! I have a friend, whos a "nomad', and basically travels the world on what little money he earns, with great success! If he can do it, then we can plan a one-week or two-weeks holiday to another country out there, that we can afford! Sorry for the rant - basically, what I'm trying to say is to stop trying to promote the regions you konw to other ppl, and insead you go and explore thye regions of the world you've never been to! GO and enjoy yourlsef, instead of trying to make other enjoy themselves in the places you think they should! If you're reading this, than I wish you an amazing day and be heathy! Thank you for you attention!
My warmest greetings to all Bulgarians from a french guy! I've fallen in love with your country and I even had the chance to live there for a few months. And what I can say is that you guys are one of the warmest and kindest people I have ever met, and your country is probably the most beautiful I got the chance to see. And your rich culture and history, your traditional music, and your food!! Yogurt in France doesn't taste as good since I've tasted bulgarian yogurt! And I'm depressed to not be able to eat banitsa anymore!! I miss so many things from Bulgaria since I'm back in France ahahah But I am I just so sad that you guys have such corrupted and uncompetent politics, as in all the Balkans, and that because of them you dislike your own country and lot of you leave it. But don't give up my bulgarian brothers, along with all your balkan kins, rise up against the corruption and the bad politics, so that everyone can finally agree that Bulgaria is indeed a real piece of heaven :) It's said that you can never truly escape from the Balkans, even after you leave it, and it seems that this is true even after living there a few months. Bulgaria will forever be in my heart, and I wish you bulgarians all the best, whether you had to leave your homeland or if you still live in Bulgaria! As obicham te mnogo, Bâlgarija! (sorry I don't have the cyrillic letters on my computer keyboard :/)
Vous même et tous le monde et toujours bien venu dans se paradis nome la Bulgarie. Pratiquement il n'y a pas un bulgare de ne pas aimer le pays. La corruption et grand problème
I left Bulgaria to French Canada 14 years ago because of the corrupt politicians and the way they govern my country. I miss it so much, of course, I miss banitsa, boza, and kiselo mliako . Now we see that all governments everywhere in the world are corrupted. I like Trump so much and wish he governs the world. Then I will be back in My country.
ndlk dan You’re a traitor to Bulgaria. How the fuck can you claim to love Bulgaria, but never return there? People who “love” their country wouldn’t do that. They would also not forget their language, but whatever.
Bulgaria is so cool, definitely in my top 3 countries in Europe. Maybe I'm subjective because I'm from Romania and we are quite similar in many ways and we know to look behind the image of the poor (EU) country. I don't know many Bulgarians, but the ones I've meet we're cool, talented, educated and all around nice people. I don't understand how the rest of Europe is not in love with this country. Have you seen their rhythmic gymnastics? or listen to their traditional women's choir songs? The mind hunting track from Ghost in the Shell was inspired by them. Love Bulgaria and its beautiful culture ❤
Cause is due to stereotypes and cliché as a french i Can assure you that WE don't Care bulgaria and Romania and globaly eastern Europe because for us they are poor countries with no interest.. is not the fact WE don't like but more WE don't Care... The next year i will study in bulgaria so i learned about this country but otherwise last year i didn't calculated this country
I’m British and Balkan countries are my favourite, tbh. Beautiful cultures of each different country, traditional music and dresses are amazing, and the people are so gorgeous. May be poor countries but they have the best history in Europe. You should be proud to be Romanian.
@@crazycocainemercenary7498 I think your right since I just read about it but we make the best yogurt for sure. We have the special ingredient called Lactobacillus Bulgaricus which gives it the unique taste and healthiness
@@БОЯНПРИНОВ is it? what does it mean in bulgarian? as it is a very Turkic word and it originates from central asia, as you can see it existent wherever you go in central asia. you bulgarian used to be volga tatars that's how you have yogurt but of course you can still go on and pretend like you are a slavic nation. enjoy denying your own history and culture.
@@MrCemsipahi the meaning of the name bulgars and from where it originates is disputed very few thigs from them are left, plus they were nomads and they were mixed, some claim they were iranian tribes predominantly. Even if so and we take ur statemant as true turkic is not turkish. 2 diferent stuff. And the famous bulgarian yogurt is made by special bacteria that can be found around balkan and rodophes mountains. Nothing to do with the old bulgar tribes who came to the balkans at 7th century and got asmilated compleatly by the majority of slavs around 9th century.
As a Bulgarian, I can say that my country doesn't get much love or recognition from the rest of the world, so reading this comment section where everyone took the time to say something nice about Bulgaria, really warms my heart! Love to you and all of your beautiful homes too!
Agreed, something about Bulgaria (even though I'm just an American who's only left the country once for Japan) makes me want to go there, the culture and landscape is extremely attractive, as soon as I can Bulgaria is certainly my first go-to place to see.
Well, Im going to give you a good news. In Indonesia, there was a time where many milk and yoghurt companies used Bulgaria's Yoghurt and Milk as their marketing campaign
Hello everyone, I'm from London and it happened to work in Bulgaria Sofia and compared to England and other countries I have been, I find the food, air, water, climate and people much better. In 2002 I met my Bulgarian wife Emma )). I know a little bit of Bulgarian language mnogo malko, but also I know and I have traveled among beautiful places, I like the mineral springs, mud baths, moussaka, meatballs (kiufteta da!), Shopska salad, hot peppers and many others.., in general I would replace everything for Bulgaria that is my country! I Love My Bulgaria! Cheers mates! Nazdrave Bulgarite)))
Having visited Bulgaria three times and fallen deeply in love with a Bulgarian girl (who I have now been dating for over a year), I can truthfully say this is my favourite country on Earth.
+danitew danisey , I am tempted to say - it is your country too, and you are always welcome to enjoy it, but I am not willing to offend you - I invest no bad feelings or hints in this. Lets just say - you are always welcome to ;)
+Цар Самуил +Цар Самуил What an idiot, doesnt even know his own people. Maybe you should read on the history of your country and ask your fellow Bulgarians what they think?
Is it weird how Iceland is about as big as Bulgaria but have only population of like Plovdiv (the 2nd largest city and the oldest city in Bulgaria and one of the oldest cities in Europe)? But much richer in terms of GDP?
@@HeroManNick1321 year old comment but Iceland is approximately 103,125 km2 or 39,817 sq mi. Meanwhile, Bulgaria is 110,993.6 km2 (42,854.9 sq mi). It's close, but not as big as Bulgaria. And as to why it has a small population, it's mainly due to the climate and lack of historical development. Iceland was isolated from the rest of the world.
as a bulgarian i just wanna say, thank you to all the people in the comments around the world showing love and appreciation for our people, soil and traditions. Thats how it is supposed to be. Love you all
@@justtakethename7383 haha True. Romania is our most trusted neighbor. They are not like all the others which wish evil to us while we wish good to them. The only other good one to us is Greece so big respect to Greece and Romania.
+Boris Stefanov I assure you Bulgaria, was never apart of the USSR, though it was a satellite state as an Eastern Bloc country.

Actually, Bulgaria was first an ally of Germany to get the lost territories (Doubroudzha and Makedonia mostly), and then, switch side under the influence of Russia. But you can NEVER tell that Bulgaria has always been hostile to Russia, it's wrong, the russian are seen as the liberators from the turkish slavery. They're culturally close and most of the Bulgarians are russophiles ! More over, Bulgaria never fought for or with the nazis, they were just allies, and keep in mind that not a single jew from Bulgaria was deported, they were all saved, and that's the only country in Europe that saved its Jews.
Since Romania and Bulgaria joined EU we have developed a beautiful friendship, we Romanians are fighting against corruption and I'm happy to see that Bulgarians take example from us, and Bulgaria helps Romania develop its coastal tourism, which is great for both of us ! Also I feel sorry for what happened at Русе, I was so shocked to see that happened... I love your country, we have to get the respect we deserve, together 🇷🇴❤🇧🇬

I have connections to Bulgaria, I can honestly say that Bulgarians are so welcoming to tourist and strangers in small remote towns, they are some of the nicest people and love it if you try to join in with some of their many traditions
Bulgaria was the first country to recodnize Bosnia and Herzegovina's independence, even before Bosnia itself declared it. I love Bulgaria, i really hope i could visit Sofia one day. Love from Bosnia 🇧🇦❤️🇧🇬

I'm American and I know exactly where it is, not to mention I'm sure most people in general don't know where Bulgaria is along with many other nations like Lichtenstein; don't stereotype please.
In fact lots of English speakers do know Bulgaria very well, since it is a popular destination for seaside holidays and for buying rural houses to live in when you are retired. The Brits are so common in the villages here that they even have entered local modern literature, with a novel „English neighbour“ by Mikhail Veshim (there is also a sitcom based on it).
I was only once in Slovakia - town Galanta on business trip. We worked on the common EU Progect. I think that Slovaks and Bulgarians are very close as temperament and attitude to the world.
Hey, in some regions of Mexico we also make yoghurt the Bulgarian way. We actually call the lactobacillus "Bulgaros", which actually means "Bulgarians". It's so delicious!
@Thracian bulgarians speak a slaiv language but after otomon empire ruled over that country for a long time I dont know bulgarians dont even look european more middle eastern
I was privileged to have visited Bulgaria for 8 days in October 2019. Not enough!!! I loved every minute and everything and cannot wait to go back. Wonderful food, friendly people, beautiful scenery. Really enjoyed Sofia, but adored Plovdiv. God bless!
Love Bulgaria from Spain, to the country, to the Bulgarians and to the Bulgarians that are living here in Spain(thats actually, is a lot of people), you are always welcome in my country ❤🇪🇸🇧🇬
Thank you very much for making this video about Bulgaria! I have a Bulgarian class mate who came to Sweden about 5 years ago and his name is Велизар. Great! Also, the letters ь and ъ, which in Russian basically are silent, actually are pronounced in Bulgarian!
just visited Bulgaria last week, really love the country!! really great atmosphere, nature, and culture. People never really talk about going there, but after my trip, I really recommend you to go! I love too see how Bulgaria is kind of mix of European and Asian culture. I also recognize a lot of similarities with Asian. I also really like how the people use rose flower for everything, like parfume, soaps, foods, sweets, etc. will definitely comeback someday!
Bulgaria is definitely an amazing country. Now given its natural beauty, I am seriously going to consider it for a solo travel trip. Much love from India.
Greetings from Poland to Bulgaria! You have a beautiful internationally known actress Nina Dobrev, who in my mind, is one of the most beautiful actresses in history. During the time she was shooting "The Vampire Diaries" (with her co-star Paul Weasley who's by the way Polish), she looked like the most beautiful girl in the world. The Vampire Diaries really had strong Slavic vibes! Bulgaria and Poland are the only Slavic countries that still exist in the same form as before the fall of communism in 1989. Other Slavic countries either broke out from USRR and did not exist for the most part of the 20th century or changed their names and territories. This year, Polish-Bulgarian singer Blanka represents Poland in Eurovision Song Contest with her song "Solo" and she's really proud of her Bulgarian heritage. She's heavily hated but whatever. The things I mentioned are simple things, but the things that not many people realize and I think they kind of connect our 2 Slavic countries, which are so far away from each other, but after all, we're both Slavic nations. My first job was in 2019 when I came to Germany to factory TST to earn some money for college. The biggest amount of people working there was from Romania, Poland, and Bulgaria. I decided to work there once more during the summer of 2022, this time it was mainly Poles and Bulgarians, unfortunately, the chef staff divided people into nations, so Bulgarians work separately from Poles together, and Poles with each other, to avoid the language communication barrier during the work. But before work at about 5:30 am some of us gathered in front of the factory to smoke and we always greeted each other- Poles and Bulgarians- with respect. I remember that my lighter didn't want to work once and this nice Bulgarian lady by herself lent me her lighter to light my cigarette and it was very nice
I don't care about the drama between greece and bulgaria and Macedonia I hope for the best for Macedonia respect for north Macedonia 🇲🇰 from bulgaria 🇧🇬 🙏

+Devoto77 I'm from Sozopol and its nice to know that people from that far away are coming to Bulgaria , for any reason at all . Also , did you try the yogurt ( sooo yammy ) . You may also want to know that Sozopol was a town-country ( like Luxembourg ) and it's the oldest city on the coast of the Black sea . #KEBABLOVERS
Elijah Markin Yes, we have a most driest desert in the earth, but it's only in the north of Chile so what? What is your problem? Also we have mountains, lakes, forest, iceberg, patagonia, volcanoes, easter island, beautiful cities. we have one of the best and safe country of America after USA and Canada. I don't know your problem dude, but i don't think the inmigrant are retarded, they just need it a job and looking for a better life. by the way, where are you from?

Love from Varna. I like your language, the Renaissance painters and opera music and singers. And Venice! When we are expecting a child we always look at something beautiful. For me this was Sandro Boticeli's painting Primavera and I dremt to have the same daughter. We called her Prolet, which means Spring. And she grew the same- tall, blonde and beautiful. Now she has 2 girls - mom's copies. 😄
What a beautiful story! Just think, I have a friend named Ivailo who comes from Varna! We met through a European volunteering project :D@@liliyakaloyanova377
