The GeoGuessr daily challenge (20/01/2023) with no moving allowed! This is the 50th episode of my daily challenge series, and I’m hoping to publish a daily challenge video as often as possible. I’m not as good at GeoWizard or GeoPeter yet, but hopefully I’ll get there!
This isn’t distance Battle Royale, country streaks, or a perfect score. This is not a diverse world, but the daily GeoGuessr challenge on the classic world map.

Only 14,566 points for me today - several bad guesses (especially rounds 2 and 3). I got a bit frustrated on the Sri Lanka round because I didn’t know what script I was seeing on the signs, and the map does not show native script for Sri Lanka as it does for other Asian countries. From now on I will just have to remember that Sri Lanka uses the script with letters that look like butts. Ha ha.

Personally, I just play the Daily Challenge normally (moving, panning, and zooming, and I like using the whole three minutes). I had a similarly distant guess in Turkey but I could've still gotten gold if only I had guessed Montenegro instead of Croatia in Round 3. My one 5K round was in Puerto Rico, 98 yards off but still close enough for full points.

I beat you by a few hundred mainly because I spotted the rift in the sky which means Albania/Montenegro. I could've got 24k if I'd checked the bin in r5 which has the city name on.
