As a geology student you should remember mnemonic in reverse way as palaeozoic COSDCP which further helps in remembering features of each period

Cheers for this, I been tryin to find out about "formation of earth cosmic calendar" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Bannrial Bizarre Bulldozer - (do a search on google ) ? It is a great one of a kind guide for discovering your spiritual animal and the clues it has to your future success minus the normal expense. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my m8 got amazing results with it.

it's very simple, for eras, PPMC,for Periods:- Archeozoic nd Proterozoic COSDCP, Truassic Jurassic nd Cretaceaous,Tertiary nd Quaternary, for epochs in Tertiary and Quaternary are PEOMP, and Pliestocene Recent. 😊😊
