Explorers isn’t bad, but I do agree on that it just need a bit “more”. The gameplay seems a bit tricky to learn and it looks like it could use more deco, and cool stuff like that. Dash for now seems a bit more fun to play
I think the part where it switches from horizontal to vertical and switches game-play is really cool and that is something Dash doesn't has but i do agree Dash has that better looking deco
RobTop levels are there only to introduce us to the new stuff. They aren't meant to be fantastic, just showing you what is there in a simple and understandable way, and the cool part is left to the community
No this is not the point, ik that robtop levels are meant to introduce us to the new mechanics, but just compare dash to explorers, really huge difference in terms of gameplay and deco, explorers have A ton of new mechanics which feels a bit oversaturated, dash uses the new 2.2 stuff more wisely, let's just hope that robtop improve it.
For most people, the sight readability on the parts where the hallways form a + sign and the part where you run up the walls as a cube is dogshit, and I agree. However the deco looks good
Yeah so they both are great levels and dash in my opinion has better visuals but explorers is probably my favourite since it’s probably a demon and the quick inputs and timings should make it feel more rewarding, but we haven’t been shown the swing copter in explorers yet and I think that the swing is an excellent fun gamemode based of what I’ve seen on videos but I think both are great levels, dash being a more relaxed playstyle still with some fun parts, and explorers with more twisted interesting gameplay that you can play
Explores looks pretty awesome and fun But dash has the better vibe and it’s design looks better than explores tho But both are insane and I can’t wait for 2.2
I feel like people kinda miss the point of robtop levels, they aren't supposed to be some beautiful spectacular decorated level. They're mostly there to introduce mechanics and generally be good levels to practice to improve said new features and get you used to it. And even with that dash looks really cool and fun! I do agree the beginning of explorers feels a little empty but the parts after it makes up for it, as for it's difficulty it feels justified, why? Because the gimmicks introduced in 2.2 are undebatably going to be the hardest mechanics to learn by far, and while dash is the general introduction, having a challenge to help you better adapt to the new mechanics makes a whole lot of sense and is a clever move by robtop, and again it is subject to change. Still really neat and I'm happy with the levels based on what we've seen! Can't wait for 2.2
Wulzy said in his video that there could be good indicators like portals on the sides where you emerge, just to make the level a little easier to sightread

It's just the point that past their vibe, and i would say that dash has better music. So you didn't have to make a whole entire essay
@@MonsieurChrysalis Well see that's kinda the thing I was addressing, yeah robtop tries to make his levels look good but his levels aren't made the same way and since some of the air deco in explorers was pretty much transparent ppl didn't see any, he doesn't even use custom BG to show off the new ones. I get why ppl like dash more but explorers feels designed to be a challenge rather than a super fun level (sorry for the second essay)
@@PoomiestPoom You see, a some people tend to find some more find, regarding if they're hard or not. You could find the category of hard in explorers but not fun. Dash is more fun, detail, more colourful, better music, vibey, and kinda introduces the new features in a better way, while not throwing every features into you're face every second not giving you time to react at first, unlike dash with limits. Ik its introductory, and levels have different flow, but its just base on someone's likings, and as explorers kinda looks empty, unlike dash that fills out the decorations clearly and coloring for the objects and background. But it's just based on what they like, and this was supposed to share what you like so you can't blame them since they're just sharing opinions. (Don't worry, i just gave you an essay too).
I prefer Dash because it has more pulses and good structures, but explorers lacs of estructures, the gameplay is better on Dash as well because it has velocity changes, but explorers has the + thing and the last cube that are unique
Cut Robtop some slack. We got double the icons, the map, event, platformer mode, a truckload of new features, loads more gauntlets, a promise to never have another 2.2, and he needs to prioritize his mental health. You guys are upset because one level that is likely still being worked on lacks enough deco. Chill out.
for all those who say that "Explorers look empty" It's not a level made by the community, it's made by Robtop And if it's made by Robtop it's because the background is also made by Robtop, so the background counts as decoration 🤓

@@VictoryNathGD dash also could be unfinished and why i cant compare them if the drop is actually better and i hope so it still doesn't give the predrop a reason to look empty and rushed it should even look better than the drop cuz your going slow it takes less time to decorate a slow part cuz it is short
Either Explorers was made before Dash, so it was a learning experience/practice for RobTop OR it was creater afterwards and just rushed. I'm optimistic and would rather go with the first possibility.
I'm extremely disappointed with explorers. the level looks extremely annoying and unplayable. the deco compared to dash is just not even comparable, and overall it just doesn't look like a fun level. I really hope Rob remakes explorers or at least changes some parts
The thing is that in dash the song starts out already hot, an action packed song. But in explorers it’s more relaxed at the start and then the beat drops into what is presumably swingcopter gameplay, I’m expecting by then there will be tons of things on the screen especially since this is supposed to be a demon
it seems it’s actually wave gameplay, if you look closely at the portal- which is annoying because there’s already so much wave gameplay everywhere else in the game, including previously in this level. the swingcopter is more exciting imo
The whole Dash Sneak Peek is definitely better, it shows off the new triggers and effects beautifully, the decor is cool, the gameplay looks cool and fair, it introduces the Swing Copter in a great way, it ends at the PERFECT time and has a lot more content. It's definitely more polished.
im a fan of dubstep and glitch hop and the color purple but even i can tell you that the second sneak peek was mid, it just doesnt hit as hard as dash, i feel like ppl are just obsessed with the explorers song lol

Мне оба понравились. Нет, серьёзно, мне реально одинаково всё понравилось. Dash Динамичный и весёлый уровень в ярких цветах и с хорошим декором. Explorers Более спокойный и интересный уровень, тоже с хорошим декором. (По поводу декора мне Explorers тоже нравится. Это одним из моих любимых стилей, когда нет такого, что напичкано куча декора в одно место. А так декор красивом спокойно распределён.
People say's Explorers feels empty, but I like that cause that happen just before ''enter the dungeon'' and feels like you find all in into the dungeon xd
Dudeee I love both, especially because I'm a big fan of the composers (MDK for "Dash" and Hinkik for Explorers). I would choose Dash for the decoration and a bit for the speed (Idk, I find it a bit faster) but bro... 0:53 I fell in love with this part COMPLETELY, it hit me so hard that I can't get away from it lol. I can't wait to play both levels!
I like explorers better than dash cause I think it just has a better feel to it. Also the video cuts it out, but in the sneak peek when scratch comes in, there appears to be a boss fight at the drop.
Explorers gimmicky gameplay works perfectly well if you take into account that Dash will have already introduced players into the new gameplay features

Without him there would be no levels which are damn near impossible. Sorry that he also wants to make the levels run and not impossible

Fingerdash isn't a bad level either, it's just not up to today's standards really, you need to realise that these levels and updates are what makes the editor even better. Rob showed some impressive stuff with the new triggers and stuff, New levels will be absolutely insane with these things. Sub-zero was bad because Rob didn't intend for it to be serious, it was only there because there were no updates for a long time. Stuff just aren't up to today's standards. If you're call this entire update and level rushed, ignore all the impact it will have because you are used to CLUBSTEP EXTREME IMPOSSIBLE DEMON SILENT LEVEL that's your opinion. But don't go around calling others delusional.
The first part of explorers is meant to be empty because it is outside the dungeon, and it is meant to be outside in the open. Thats why the dungeon is more decorated
Deadlocked and Theory of Everything 2 are less decorated than Blast Processing and Geometrical Dominator, so I think it's how he does it with these levels.
Explorers will have epic gameplay (some people thinks its empty but thats fine for me and if you wanted it to not be empty then for sure one day we will have a full version or a remake for it) also dash going to have epic gameplay but might be somewhat difficult (i'm not saying explorers isn't hard since i still didnt play it but for sure it will introduce me for the new mechanics)
I do think dash was better, but the more and more I watch explorers the better it becomes, the same as for dash, I used to not like dash, but it really grew on me and explorers same, I even used to not like the song for both, but now I like them, so I may be leaning a bit more to explorers, considering how cool it is i guess, but I like both
Dash is actually a good level but Explorers just feels like robtop tried to add as many features into the level. Also explorers has barely any air deco.
I still agree with my opinion cause the level definitely needs a lot of work. Even robtop knows the level is nowhere near good enough for a main level so he delayed it
