Note that Mefewe's hardest demon being Decode is a common misconception. It was Decode when he first started playing Sonic Wave, but by the time he made any noticeable progress he had beaten Windy Landscape and Supersonic
@@_Gam3r Oh yeah of course, although back then, ANYONE beating Sonic Wave would have been pulling off a big jump, since Sonic Wave was so much harder than any other level beaten at the time, especially Mefewe's buffed ver.
Kolo deserves better, bro managed to expose the biggest hacker and he was met with the most immature response ever, and even then he handled it extremely well I remember a comment I saw on the exposal video which was kinda like, “Kolo should message the mod team with “I was right 👍” for every day the Demonlist screwed him over” and honestly Amen to that! #justiceforkolo
God I miss Sea. He could be a dick sometimes in his rants but his content was so cool and dived into the community in a way no one else has been ever been able to do.
I just thought of an even bigger one: what if robtop never launched gd on steam? Every top player is on pc (steam) which means that without pc gd the game would be nowhere near where it is today. The skill cap would be astronomically lower and things like megahack wouldn’t exist. The game would not be anywhere near as popular too
If Space was NEVER caught, he probably would have hacked his way through so many things, and maybe even go on a rampage with him beating the extended and legacy list, ALTHOUGH Zoink would still be the best player (even his tidal wave verification in 50k attempts is more impressive than space “verifying” slaughterhouse in 40k attempts)
no it isnt? spaces "verification" of slh was like his 15th demon and as a jump from tartarus zoink beat tidal wave after completing the entire mainlist
Insane that you attribute aeonairs growth to npesta, i’m not saying you’re necessarily wrong, it might have sparked his return but i mean that guy has been around since the games release
As much as I know space, he probably he would keep going like that until he would actually getting bored of this game and stopped playing it forever (or until 2.2 released). But he wouldn't admit that he hacked everything. He would just say that he quit the game or maybe would let his demonlist profile getting removed like he already did once. It would just be a matter of time until somebody would found it out again or he would come back only to confess. He would get exposed anyways when 2.2 released since everyone would be playing it and he wouldn't be able to hack anything since all of the hacks wouldnt work anymore. Space would probably have rebeaten the current mainlist before the release again so he can say that he is gonna "take a break to enjoy 2.2" so he wouldnt get caught but I think that 2.2 would have their features that wouldnt make it easier for him to cheat that easily. He would probably use the first hacking method for 2.2 that would get released, which are mostly the once that are the easiest to expose which would get him caught again. At the end, no matter what would have happened, he would get exposed anyways.
I don't think there is a world where spaceuk was never caught. There is probably one where he went on to be the supposed number 1 player for WAY longer, but he would have gotten caught eventually. I mean think about it, cheat detection got and will get better and better as people become more knowledgeable. And even if no one thought to look into space cheating, one bad cheater could launch an investigation on the rest of the prevalent top players. And in that investigation space will be caught. Point im trying to make is. A cheater will eventually be caught, so anyone cheating should confess, explain how they did it and leave their community at least for a while if they have any respect left for the people they deceived for so long.
Honestly, if Space was never caught, it was 1 of 3 options: 1.- Nothing lasts forever, so at some point he would get caught, but assuming he literally never gets caught, Space just dies and everyone forgets about him. 2.- Space quits the game and since he quits no one bothers to check if his stuff was ever legit. 3.- GD dies out and Space becomes the only person that plays the game. Ps: These are obviously exagerated high and low ends so they all have a very close to 0 chance of happening
Hey there, just wanted to say that combined DID beat his version of Kenos before npesta verified his version of Kenos, but combi decided to let npesta verify his harder version
I'm currently playing Sonic Wave, thinking that maybe I can beat it in like a year from now (very optimistic, I've been playing GD for one year). It's just crazy to think that Sonic Wave was so insane back in the day, and now it's being pushed back more and more by seemingly random top extremes and is currently the last extended list demon. And it's a horrible level, like it's seriously very bad at everything except the music (Sonic Blaster is a blast), so I needed to hear its importance so I have a reason to ever beat it.
If space never got caught he for sure wouldve been voted as the best player of all time for the GD10 video, which probably wouldve made him the worst hacker when/if he eventually got caught
What if Zzoink, Doggie, Cursed, Trick and other pro players were caught cheating and Noctafly, Spaceuk, Cyrillic, Toshdeluxe was the actual legit players?
Wait- SONIC WAVE IS AT 150?! I wanted to beat it before it became legacy, but heh- guess im not getting that chance. Im confused- why can't they just give different tags to people who beat it when it was main list, extended list, and legacy list instead of just not letting people submit records? I know it'd be harder to moderate records, but could they ATLEAST make the list 50 spots longer? Like, it's getting absurd at this point to even ATTEMPT to get a record in a list demon.
For a player to beat an extended list level today they have to be genuinely insanely good, there's no other game where the skill level has reached THIS high. When you see Tartarys out of the top 20, Zodiac out of the top 30, Bloodlust at 76, SW in legacy and bloodbath at around 300... absolutely bizarre.
SpaceUK would have probably beat avernus and then possibly get caught because Avernus is known for the fixed hitboxes so people will see that space cheated
Wave Wave was inspired by the app Wave wave and robtop was inspired by the app wave wave so if darnoc didn't stumble upon the game, the wave would still exist but the ufo would not.
without mafewe´s version wi wouldnt have sonic wave infinity , also withouth space uk verification on slaughterhouse players wouldnt belive that it was posible at all, it highered up the skill ceiling, firework would be top 1
imagine for the wave theoretical, that robtop implemented the wave so that instead of holding to go up and releasing to go down, you click to change the direction, just like the level 'wave wave'. would change the entire difficulty of wave and probably would make all the wave-based extreme demons not exist
A lot of people have talked about what if Mefewe didn't die at 98, but I think there needs to be much more discourse about what if Riot didn't die at 96. Because if Riot verifies Sonic Wave, he stays a top player. Maybe he ends up verifying Yata, maybe he ends up verifying BL or Apocalyptic Trilogy, maybe SWI!
If Riot verifies SW, SWI doesn't exist anymore. Sunix probably doesn't rise to the top, and but Riot probably still doesn't verify Yata. He quit because his hand hurt. Who does the verification fall to? Who really knows. Maybe Quasar, Sunix, or Surv.
@@shadowdfa6151tidal wave was an interest for like absolutely nobody, least of all spaceuk. The level that would actually be affected is Banshee, which was going to be verified in an ungodly state by spaceuk
