Freud Rubang. They aren’t claiming that the pandemic does not exist, they just believe that millions people dying or going to prison due to their skin colour is very important(Saying that it is bad) and it is. Unfortunately COVID came at the same time so it has increased the risk of going to protests. Personally I think protests should be much more social distant, but people are just trying to fight for the right to eat, to live without violence, to have a home etc and without protest systematic racism will go on.

National Guard does have Special Forces and green berets however. Check out 19th SFG and 20th SFG. I was with 20th in support role. 19th/20th have more experienced Green Berets/Rangers/Paratroopers than active. Our ODAs were mostly older dudes but high speed as hell.

Using the military is a brilliant idea. The military guys don't have years of dealing with some areas and communities treating them like shit. Nor have the all the bad experiences and near-death experiences of the cops. So they are more likely to treat people better. And the protesters/rioters don't have any justification to be angry at the national guard.

Thing is.. They are not there to be deployed AGAINST the civilian protests.. They are there to keep the peace and protect people from the more violent aggressors that riot and plunder, if they were there against the civilian protests then these protests wouldn't have been there anymore. It is good that people are given the opportunity to express their opinion. But it’s bad that sometimes it turns into violence. In Russia, opposition rallies are prohibited. For similar, imprisoned, beat with a club or persecution begins. Army, police, FSB, courts under Putin’s elite. Appreciate freedom, but do not abuse it.
