7:37 This is Julia Kloeckner from the CDU. A politician who is known for her excellent lobbying contacts. As Minister for Food and Agriculture, she has even published an advertising clip with the CEO of Nestlé on the ministry's website.

I saw him two times live. He is great. The way he use our language is amazing and mostly he is right.

Just here to say that the translation for this was very well done. I couldn't find any mistakes or things that could've been better actually.

In Germany, political cabaret is certainly an art form in its own right and also occupies a very large space, even in the rather small local area.

It is nearly Impossible to translate these words apart from messages " between the lines " neither to subtitles nor the real meanings and the vibe behind it MASTERS OF COMMUNICATION i adore both of them

He's a master of playing with words and phrases - genius! I like him very much.

Aw, I absolutely love Burn After Reading, it is hilarious, and all the actors are so great. Also Fargo by the Coen brothers, among my favorite movies.

Georg Schramm and Volker Pispers ... two retired cabaret artists ... two of the TOP10 in Germany. Georg Schramm is disguised here to perform his artificial character "Lothar Dombrowski, a renitent old Prussian pensioner" and World War II veteran. Of course, the implied prosthetic hand is just a prop.

And the Politician in the Audience, shown when he mentions her name (13:23), she laughs at it. Klöckner is well known to have close ties with Nestle and she was Parliamentary State Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection as well as Federal Minister of Food and Agriculture... with close ties to NESTLE... and there she sits and laughs...

Another great video from him is "Lieutenant Colonel Sanftleben - The soft target is the human" (OTL Sanftleben - Das Weichziel ist der Mensch). Unfortunately, I haven't found the video with good English subtitles yet. A likeable press officer from the Bundeswehr, usually slightly drunk but very authentic, comes out with sentences like: "Young gamers can fly a fighter jet with virtuosity in the simulator," "and in a real jet?" "Of course not, the strain, 5G acceleration, a little faty like that is of course finished off straight away." Or why we have so few soldiers; "the low reproduction rate. In the past, people had three sons, one got the farm, the other got the church, and one got the military. Today, not even the church gets one. In addition, after a fairly complex production process, the wear and tear in combat is so high that the human material is quickly used up."

I found the translations in the subtitles to be fairly accurate. Schramm's rhetoric reminded me a bit of Stephen Colbert when he leads into his segment "Meanwhile". He then goes into speed speech mode, but the content is similarly complex to what Schramm has used at the end of his performance. Complex, yes, but certainly not as intellectually demanding as Schramm did.

the thing here is that the target for his arrows sat in the audiance .... XD

recomendations? maybe henning wehn, the german ambassador to comedy in britain? hard to find well translated german comedy stuff, especially since we often like to play with words. you did hagen rether, right?

Perhaps difficult for non-native speakers to recognize, he speaks with an old Prussian accent that is rare these days. The last people who spoke this had fled from there or were at war, which is what the rubber hand indicates.

There IS als a better Performance of Georg Schramm, titled " arm gegen reich". Poor vs rich.
