I have heard this series talked about but not seen an episode. In fact it was very well written and has aged much better than a lot of the TV series of the era. Sid James, was always Sid James but boy did he work hard and from what I have heard, play hard. Looking forward to watching the second half and other episodes if available. Peggy Mount and her good friend Pam are on a lovely clip on Wogan.

My neighbour in the 1960’s had the same type taxi as seen here, as for Solomon Joel Cohen aka Sid James, thought he was always too overpowering, could Mount have ever upstaged his big ego?.
