George never did give a "f". His thought process absolutely cracks me up. A truly brilliant mind gone to places most people never would consider but once you go along it really does kinda make (perfect??) sense. Love Squirrels channel as well but I have to stand by my 2 favorite Brits. Will be watching Squirrel's and your channels and as always Peace✌ Thanks for the great laughs 😂😂😂

I had George’s album as a 11 year old in the 70s his work evolved over the course of my life and I thank him . He let me know I wasn’t alone in my humor.☮️

True. The longevity of Carlin is pretty amazing. He was doing stand up on The Ed Sullivan Show, so was doing these bits since the Beatles and the Stones were just kids and newcomers to the music scene 🤯. It’s good to see that his brand of comedy seems to ‘translate’ well enough too. You might assume that as long as the language is the same, it has to be internationally funny? Not necessarily. English comics don’t always work for an American audience and I would have to think that’s probably a two-way street.

Alot of times he plays on the extremes of people, he often takes the things people do or say or think and runs with them out as far as he can. Some people find the injuries to be exciting so why not just go to the extreme and cause as many injuries as possible.

Enjoyed this video!! IMHO, people either really love George Carlin or hate him. There's not a lot of middle ground with my friends on his form of comedy. I'm on the ❤ side. Anyways, I needed a good laugh tonight and you guys delivered. I liked watching the two of you reacting to ol' George...it was quite funny and I was laughing at your reaction to him. By the way, I think I like some of George's rules for sports. 🤭😁🤣

He looks a bit like Hector Elizondo in the thumbnail (the hotel manager in 'Pretty Woman') I wouldn't mind a few non-lethal landmines for work. Particularly for the third aisle ( where they queue for the Post Office) on a Monday,at about 4 pm. * mind wanders * 😁

Pretty good. I liked the slightly more peppy 'throw away' style of younger George to the more portentous older George, His way of thinking was 'trademark-able'. George's assessment of sports popularity based on injuries still seems to be true. Based on YT sports recommendations, popular YT sports reactions are Americans reacting to 'big hits' in Rugby, or Brits reacting to 'big hits' in NFL (American Football), or any nationality and 'big hits' in AFL. Golf can't compete. I am surprised he didn't advocate adding wild animals to bring jeopardy to running or swimming, and hence elevate them to sports. Best Wishes, Chaps, and Squirrel. ☮

I took the opportunity to watch him in concert three times over the years. He was consistently funny, he got angrier as the years went by. He became completely interested in bringing his message about the politics of the world and at the end would never do gentle bits about sports or dope or the weather, for example.

Uncle Fucking George! Who doesn't like the injuries? Blood in the ice, grass, floorboards. HELL YEAH! I miss the good old days, saying anything and not getting cancelled. George was the best, I always felt a kinship to him.

I think George was wrong when he said "all racket sports are nothing but derivatives of ping pong”. I think tennis would’ve come first. Because wouldn’t the game have been played on ground level first, as then people would’ve decided to play it on a raised surface.

It was just his stage persona...in person and in interviews he was a nice guy...his bitterness was a tactic he employed to get a point across.

Honestly, Carlin was not funny when he was alive, let alone now that he is dead. He was always just a burned out hippy who liked to make strange noises. Not comedy, really, not comedy.
