Reviving a long gone era of the NYC subway using OpenBVE, a simple train simulator game...
15 years ago on this day (June 22), legendary comedian George Carlin passed away. He is one of the few personalities that I admire, mainly because he viewed the World for what it really is, he saw through all the bs humanity made and he managed to express it brilliantly in his latest comedy routines and make people think, including myself.
I decided to do something special for this day, we're going back to the 1940s in Morningside Heights where George grew up and hang around the subway on the 1 Broadway Local at the Columbia University and 125th Street stations. This is supposed to take place in the late 1940s when the IRT Low-Vs were still ruling the line and the downtown platforms of most stations along the line were being extended.
Please note that the Low-V train development has only started a few days ago and was rushed for this special day, so it's still very unfinished, model, sound and physics wise.
