Keith French, still if you didn’t know who she was you likely wouldn’t have expected rivers to be her name...though it was in caps-he was bombarded with bars on bars and cameos he didn’t know where coming.
The woman was Joan Rivers, and she was just as brutal IRL as in this rap. She was known for pushing the limits and battle of the sexes type jokes, often at her own expense, as well as having had a lot of plastic surgery, which she also joked about.
The "seven words you can't say on TV" was a bit Carlin had, I'd recommend looking it up. In fact it'd be great seeing you react to some of Pryor and Carlin's bits if you aren't already familiar with them, they're both probably in the top three most influential comics ever.
They actually said her name in the battle "So don't throw down with Rivers, the flow is too relentless-" "Mork aged backwards, and Joan, you must too!" It's famous raunchy female comedian Joan Rivers
I love Robbin Williams. Brought joy to the hearts of millions. He was my favorite part of this rap battle but he did not win. Joan Rivers won this hands down.
Omg I love this reaction so much. You have evolved my good man. Just when you think it's good, it gets better and your reactions are so priceless! Great reaction and much love bro. Always down to watch you.
Robin Williams is definitely the emotional favorite, but Joan Rivers won the rap battle, hands down. Robin mostly just quoted movie titles as his rap. Rivers ripped the other three to pieces.
That's my reasoning. She was too savage so give it to her but Robin takes second for my bias, he was more comical with his references. Richard won just between him and Carlin.
Joan had it easy though. She got to do all these amazing rips on Cosby that no one else got a chance to do..lol, Robin just did a line for each of them, then talked about how amazing he was because he was.
@@markfuston2714 Yeah, she may have had a lower bar to hurdle than the others, but you can't deny she cleared it with plenty of space. ;) And nobody really got a chance to hit back either.
That woman was Joan Rivers, and her style of comedy is very similar to what they did with her here. Also, she won. I love Robin Williams, and he was played really well here, except that they didn't really use his style of comedy for his part, but Joan killed everyone, especially Cosby.
Yeah, man, that's Joan Rivers in a nutshell. She pulled no punches during her comedy career and gave absolutely zero fucks about who she offended. The lady's a legend, a hilariously offensive legend.
The reason Joan Rivers went so hard in on Cosby, beyond her comedy, is that she got her first big shot thanks to him and considered him a friend. Doubtless the real Joan would have done the same after what came to light.
Out of 17 different people I watched for this rap just to see people’s reaction of Robin Williams and so (in a way) I could relive the hype of seeing him appear from the lamp, you and one other person had a legit reaction and showed pure hype, you my friend just got a like and subscribe
When the battles are over, you can check the video descriptions to see who the characters were. They always list the characters and who played them in the video descriptions.
At one time Joan Rivers was Johnny Carson’s fill in host on the Tonight Show and was widely expected to succeed him when he retired. She got an offer for her own show on Fox when it became a network back in the late 80’s. She took at it, Carson was pissed, and her show flopped. It took her years to get back.
She's Joan Rivers. One of the best comedians to ever live imo. The type of jokes she did were the dark ones like homophobic (at least imo they came off as that, idk if they really were homophobic), racist, sexist and as a gay mexican she was gold 👌👌👌. R. I. P. Joan Rivers, she will forever be missed ❤
All you've got left is: Season 1: John Lennon vs. Bill O'Reilly Sarah Palin vs. Lady Gaga Hulk Hogan vs. Kim Jong-il Genghis Khan vs. The Easter Bunny Napoleon Bonaparte vs. Napoleon Dynamite Gandalf vs. Dumbledore Christopher Columbus vs. Captain Kirk Nice Peter vs. EpicLLOYD Season 2: Nikola Tesla vs. Thomas Edison Grigori Rasputin vs. Joseph Stalin Season 3: Rick Grimes vs. Walter White Artists vs. TMNT Season 4: Steven Spielberg vs. Alfred Hitchcock Season 5: J. "the shit off the top i spit, flames!" that's a reference to when, during a intense bout of free-basing (rich was heavy into drugs in the 70s), he set himself on fire and ran out of his house. it was pretty bad. he almost died. but he made a comeback and even talked and joked about it in his "live from the sunset strip" special. go look it up. its one of the greatest sets in history.
Out of all of these comedians that died from heart attacks-- George Carlin, Richard Pryor, Joan Rivers-- one one killed himself, and that is Robin "the Genie" Williams. Bill doesn't deserve to be on this list, because . . . he's still alive.
Gotta be honest, though I loved her verse, I expected more from ERB for Rivers. When you're playing such a LEGENDARY insult comic who was famous for ABSOLUTELY DESTROYING people and your series already has some unforgiveably savage bars and battles, the bar is already set INCREDIBLY high. But this verse was still better than 99% of their others and that's saying something about how great it was
So no one is gonna mention the fact that George Carlin had some awesome bars. He just didnt have enough rap time to beat out Joan. U can't really count Robin Williams cuz that he is too overpowered. Its like Abraham lincoln in every presidential rap battle.
Joan Rivers. Kind of gave up comedy after a while to do TV hosting as it was just easier and required a lot less traveling.. Did a lot stuff like Oscar preshow coverage and the like. But her comedy and jokes were always mean and ruthless. Hey, here's a short Joan Rivers routine, maybe you can do a reaction to it: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VUa26aCKrD0.html
Voyager Derpyss yeah I know now. But when I watched the video it said 1 view and there were no comments. Of course later when I got a notification it showed comments before mine
