George Duke, No Rhyme, No Reason 

George was one of the greatest of the greats, and baddest of the bad. Yet his performances always reflected his sense of humor. May he RIP.

I attended this concert. He was truly phenomenal!!

My heart breaks at the news of this man's passing. God is definitely calling his music angels home. RIP George Duke. What a tremendous talent and what a smile! This song here will forever be one of my all-time favorites for its gorgeous melody and soooooooooo prolific and profound lyrics. The world has truly been blessed to have the musical presence and legacy of Mr. Duke.

Kristal...I got a chance to see him at the Charlotte Uptown Jazz Festival 2 yrs ago here in Charlotte, NC. OMG...sweetie....NOTHING like it in this world! He is SO special, SO talented, and he worked the crowd with slow jams as well as his Dukey Stick song....I am SO glad I had that opportunity to witness it first hand. I was 7 rows back. AMAZING Man....R.I.P. George...this man right here will ALWAYS remember you!

I had the misfortune of going to see Mr. Duke at the Birchmere Jazz Club in Alexandria, Va. about 6 years ago. He did not won't to perform No Rhyme No Reason even though the crowd begged him to. He finally said that he would do it. He did it and I left.
