While I admire Owen, who's taken a lot of flack for his support of Palestinians. However, he was 100% wrong about antisemitism in Labour, Corbyn. And he's wrong about Galloway.

Mate you got flummoxed by Galloway in your interview, and now you're releasing a smear video despite telling him several times that you're not someone who demonises people you disagree with. This is so transparent

Jones was against Corbyn until he nearly won in 2017, so does he know? And why doe he feel the need to continually lecture people on what we should think. Galloway has some things wrong, for sure, but so does Jones. I still wouldn't call him 'an enemy of the left' Ridiculous.

Hopeless analysis. According to this analysis presumably Owen thinks voters in Rochdale should vote for the pro Genocide Party (ie Labour) rather than the anti Genocide candidate ( Galloway). Owen, I support LGBT, BAME, Labour, socialism, equality...... BUT - as a woman, I can't accept trans-women in Women's sports, women's prisons, women's loos, women's hospitals, women's changing rooms etc. What does this make me, all of a sudden? - a bigot, a right winger, an unwoke person, a TERF, and so many more expletives. And, I in no way hate trans-women, but with all this hate building up towards me, I'm beginning to! It's scaring me. What has happened here? Where is this all going? I don't agree with everything he says but what he's saying about Gaza, and he's about the only MP saying it, is a winner for me.

Jones has to call Galloway a 'arch reactionary', rather than homophobic, because he has an immaculate record on voting for Gay rights and has won a Stonewall award when it was far more difficult to support gay right than it is now. Galloway also convincingly rebutted all these questions in a friendly Interview with Jones but as Galloway says, Owen has many faces.

I am an Irish person who has moved to the UK to be close to my two daughters, who live and work here. I have been active in staff associations and trade unions all my life. My position on the political spectrum is left/centre left. I have registered and am now eligible to vote in the upcoming general election. Obviously, I won't be voting tory. Political commentators like yourself and Michael, I subscribe to both your channels, would seem to be anti Labour and anti George Galloway's Workers Party. I understand your logic. However, it leaves people like me in a bit of a bind. I always like to exercise my franchise. I don't want to say that I am voting for the lesser of two evils, evil will always wins then. Labour's purge of the left is despicable and their Gaza policy is unforgivable. As an Irish person, the Palestinian struggle is dear to my heart and George Galloway has been an outspoken and vociferous supporter of the Palestinian cause since the late 1970s.

George Galloway stands with Assange and mentions the fact regularly. He also calls out US/ British imperialism regularly... I am uneasy with some of his socially conservative positions but he's generally a positive figure in my view..

Jones told Galloway he would cut off his leg before he would vote Tory. Galloway instantly set out a scenario which Jones agreed would make him vote Tory. From cutting off his leg to voting Tory in less than fifteen seconds.

Galloway isn't perfect, but to his enormous credit, he was kicked out of Labour for protesting against Labour's illeagal war in Iraq that killed 1 million Iraqis, long before the majority of the establishment were prepared to confront it. I don't think Galloway has any interest in going after LGBTQ in this fight.

Only a few days Galloway and Jones had a relatively civil discussion, but then Galloway called out Jones for being a smear merchant . Jones decided to respond by smearing Galloway as an enemy of the left. In other words this video has proven Galloway to be right.

Galloway is aligned with Tony Benn politics. Benn was on the left but he was a crazed leftie. I like Galloway loved Benn.

George Galloway is not an enemy of the left and it's a shame that Owen is incapable of demonstrating a fairer and more balanced assessment of him. He voted for the Conservative Party because he supports the United Kingdom and the first-past-the-post system makes tactical voting necessary. To present it as anything other than that is deeply dishonest and disingenuous too since Owen is intelligent enough to understand this point. I am incapable of regarding as an "enemy" someone who has been tirelessly in speaking up on behalf of the Palestinian people throughout his entire political career, including - crucially - when it was extremely unpopular to do so. George Galloway is a powerful voice for the oppressed everywhere and no amount of sanctimonious condemnation of him by Owen Jones or anyone else will dent my deep love and respect for him for all that he has done and will continue to do for some of the most oppressed people in the world. With that said I'm sure that there are many legitimate criticisms that can be made of George Galloway. One of the criticisms that I do have of George Galloway is his own inability to offer a fairer and more balanced assessment of Owen Jones. The truth of the matter is that both George Galloway and Owen Jones are principled socialists and champions for justice whose values and beliefs overlap far more than they differ.

Dear Owen, apart from you telling us about the content of some school books (which was nice) you have not told me in a way that I understand why George Galloway is an enemy of the left. except: a. some internal Labour politics. b. something about some minorities. (very difficult to follow and understand what you’re going on about) c. some language and slogans; like reactionary/ enemy /in league is he who shall not be named, etc. Next time could you please make a video detailing why George Galloway is an enemy of the left as promised. It seems to me you are just making up some vlog time, I hope you have not run out of interesting things to say.

I have certain reservations about Galloway. He can be beguilingly contradictory at times, and yet at other times he hits the target spot on. George is eclectic and he has trouble at times sorting out the strands of his influencers - a bit of Marx, bit of Mussolini (yes, 'neither right nor left' was Mussolini's phrase), bit of Churchill, bit of Benn, and so on. But these contradictions come across in a way as endearing because despite his intelligence the message is not entirely refined, perhaps less contrived. I certainly don't doubt his affiliation with the working class, however, for better or worse. By contrast, Jones is a well house-trained 'media leftie', class-unconscious identity-politics liberal. I have not trusted Jones since he was in the thick of the campaign to destroy Corbyn, Livingstone and Williamson with the weaponisation of anti-Semitism that the Guardian spewed out day after day ad nauseum.

I don't like the way he was driven up to Glenrothes, Scotland, where oridinary Scots voters were door canvassing for Independence votes. No, he is not an enemy of the left, sure most disagree with some things he believes, if we want to succeed we have to be build bridges with e.g. people on the right. We need to find common ground based on policies not just dismiss people completely because you disagree on one or two issues
