This really is the best guitar channel I've come across. Been wanting to play for jazz/ atonal/ Fripp-esque lines etc and didn't know where to start then I met this channel. Thank you!

The only problem with the Triadic Chromatic Approach is, it is mentally so hard and exhausting that I get a headache trying to do it.

Hi, yeah, I agree, but that's the key really is to keep pushing and gradually new ideas and sounds and the connections come together. It's really more of a rut-buster to move away from cliches and come up with some new ideas/lines. But, yes as in anything in music it does require a lot of work, but it's great that you have given it a go!👍👍👍

Interest to listen to. But isn’t this about learning some licks that you can put in? Is it then improvising?

Hi Han, for me this is more of a "Rut-buster" than anything else. What this does more than anything is give a path to develop fresh inventive lines and avoid repetitive cliches. This video is just a basic overview of Garzone's concept. For a lot of improvisers though the triadic chromatic approach is really useful because it's actually quite difficult to play cliched licks because you're always getting steered away from them.👍

I believe I've said this once, but I'm gonna say it again. Your channel makes me feel better about my composition ideas. It's great to know that I'm not alone on my aproaches. Well, not mine, apparently people had the same ideas as I'm having now. Anyways, it's cool to be validated!
