Marvellous pièce by Schubert and marvellous interpretation by our great George Harliono ! So happy to have this piece complete by him. Thanks for sharing.
George is the best pianist on this year XVII Tchaikovsky competition ! No doubts ! I’m very happy that could hear him there in Big Concert Holl of Moscow Conservatory. I believe in his great future!
You are a genius George! You a truly one of the best pianists ever! I'm mesmerized watching you! Absolutely incredible! FLAWLESS! So very handsome as well! Continued success always! 💖😊🙏💖
@@marksmith3947that’s totally unfair! He’s a brilliant pianist and a wonderful young man. He’s worked extremely hard to get to the level he is. Extremely.
thank you for the most subtle lyrics...divine revelation from contact with the beautiful...all the technical difficulties are hidden behind the idea of bringing the joy of life from contact with the beautiful
George Harliono : You keep playing always so well that get our sensibility.Congratulations. Your fan and I think also friend is waiting for you here in Argentina. All of us will be able enjoy your art.Warm regards from Argentina.
Nice work, especially like the delicate pedaling, but I suppose there are rooms for improvement. First there should be some more apparent breaks between phrases. I like to call this marathon; this piece, especially the first "movement," is not a speed race. In my opinion, racing down through the piece restlessly is not quite good to listen. Second, there are some mistouches. I understand this piece is technically very hard. But considering this is a world renowned competition, as a professional pianist he should have practiced more, especially the arpeggio and following chords. Still an exellent work though, George. Cheers!
Yes, I can hear some errors. The slight increase in speed is his interpretation - and he is allowed that. George does play hard on the loud notes, but several pianists do that. One that immediately comes to mind is Lang Lang, who is suppose, does not impress you either. No matter, because it’s a matter of taste. With all the “awful” mistakes he made, as you describe them, he still won second prize. No matter how professional a player is, they may still have nerves when actually playing. I believe it is not only about practicing harder, but strengthening the mind too. It is what athletes do and playing difficult musical pieces is like running marathons. It’s easy for us to watch and criticize, but in the meantime, the artist is playing his heart out. For the judges,it must have sounded better, being there, than what you have described. So his nervousness MAY have cost him first prize. So what? He will be much richer for this experience. 😊
