I remember hearing my sweet Lord as a 16 yr. old in 1970. Never once did I consciously hear Hare Krishna. Two yrs. later I was chanting and going to the temple. At 19, I first saw my beloved spiritual master in 1973, New York. It's hard to imagine just how fortunate a soul is to be in the association of a personality like Srila Prabhupada. George Harrison: a man worthy of remembrance. George was always my favorite Beatle. What a spirit George had. I personally believe that a spirit as that of George Harrison NEVER dies, but lives eternally. Someday, I hope to meet him.

2001 I wasn't even alive. I was born in 2005 July 11th and I'm still crying and missing a man who will never know I existed. George is such a sweet man. I miss him everyday. His music will forever live on. Rest in peace George Harrison 🌼🌿❤🌻

Yes a beautiful job I'm so glad I found this just now.. I wish Olivia had been able to just say one or two sentences more about him lighting up the room when he died.. I know that what she saw was probably beyond words.. but still I'm nosey and would have liked a little bit better description when she says you could see him... I'm glad he had a good passing . I feel this song is his masterpiece ..I've always loved it from the first time I heard it as a kid and my older sister had just bought the album right after it came out and we played it all the time. I think his other masterpieces are Within You and Without You and Isn't It a Pity. We are so grateful for his contributions .

Well done Matty. A great tribute to George and an important video tieiding in Srila Prabhupada's loving relationship with George. I am sure most George fans still dont know how vital Srila Prabhupada was to George's spiritual development and how he inspired George to give Krishna to millions. George was an instrument in Krishna's hands to save the world, and he is still doing it by introducing millions to the goal of life, Lord Krishna. The Krishna conscious aspect of George's life is only for the hard-core George fans that can go beyond admiration with less depth to it

Wow, I"ve been shedding tears throughout the video, George had a great influence in my life. The living in the material world album blew my mind as I was just getting into Vedic teachings, and the Hare Krishna movement. He was so famous, yet so humble. . His passing was extremely transcendental, Sounds like Lord Krishna personally came to get George accompanied by a golden chariot and powerful horses. I remember exactly where I was and what I was doing when he heard that George had died. I remember exactly where I was when I heard the same thing about John.I was born in Scotland in 1948 and I remember exactly where i was and what I was doing the first time I heard Love Me Do as well as Please Please Me on the Sunday afternoon radio show called Pick of the Pops on the BBC. We stopped playing Monopoly and stared at the Radio in wonder...

When 'All things must pass' starts playing with a montage of George's life, I find myself crying. The humble beauty of that song, combined with George's unique voice, moves me every time. I have recently started reading Bhagavad Gita. Once my time comes to leave this material world, I want to go to the same place as George.

All Things Must Pass is one of my favourites too. If you chant the Maha Mantra and you are reading Bhagavad-Gita, I recommend Srila Prabhupada's Bhagavad-Gita As It Is then you will meet Lord Krishna and George 🙏🏼 🌈 🕉

At 3:23 you can see Paul very uncomfortable and trying to hide his grief and anger at having to sign those papers. As a fan who has read and observed everything related to the beatles, every time I see that image, I have the feeling that Paul could have continued his whole life with the beatles and even though I understand that he could be very bossy I think he gave everything for that band. If there's anyone out of the 4 who was faithful to the beatles above all, it was him.

How can it be that the 3 of them(sorry Ringo.Still love ya!)just wrote the most extraordinary music..I dont believe in God.But their music sometimes feels devine.It's almost perfect in a sense.It's one of the things that almost makes me believe in a higher power..There are people in the world who dont connect with music very deeply.And it's kind of a shame if they dont because they dont see it it..But if you do connect with music, the Beatles(together and much of their solo work)some times feels like magic to me..Touched by something greater..

Thew Beatles were such an influence in part because they were 4 very different people who somehow managed to merge their differences in a way that we all could relate to at least one aspect of the group and thereby allowed us to "see" the other aspects that we otherwise might of missed. George, for me, represented the "Spiritual" aspect of life. Miss him and John. I can only imagine how the music they wold have produced. Bless us all!

....a very moving and loving tribute . When he toured Japan with Eric in 1991 , then played a Table Tappers concert at the Royal Albert Hall in 1992, we all hoped to see him play a concert or two in the UK ...but it never happened , sadly.

Very well done Matty. Thank you very much. All things will pass, but not the memory of how much George inspired us to discover the Supreme Lord, Sri Krishna. What a profound thing he said at the end, no other reason to stick around except that his son needed a father. Not all mothers believe that.

Olivia Harrison said her husband lit the room when he passed. I know that light. It comes when a person passes in the dark of the night. When I lost my husband, he died in another place and I was asleep as it was the middle of the night. The room lit up and I felt a pressure laying on me. At first I thought my husband came home early and told him to get off me. But there was no one there and that light in the room, it lit up the whole middle of the room, the light didn't come from the floor or the ceiling. If you've ever seen that light, you know how magical it is. I turned my head and looked at the time and knew something was wrong. I later found that was the time he died. He came to say goodbye.

I stayed at the estate in Henley - the Tudor-style estate George Harrison gave to the Hari Krishnas to use as their London temple. I was invited to stay there by the Hari Krishnas on my way to Africa. I ate so much good food!. They didn't try to convert me or anything. I enjoyed it so much. The temple in Dallas, Texas is lovely and they have a great vegetarian restaurant.

Wonderful, although the 'Tudor-style estate' Hare Krishna temple is in Aldenham Hertsmere, which is just outside of London. George Harrison never lived there, but he donated it to the founder Acharaya (Guru) His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada, (affectionately known by his disciples as Srila Prabhupada) who was the founder of ISKCON, also known as the Hare Krishna movement. The estate in Henley was George Harrison's private home called 'Friar Park.' Yes, the food which is called prasadam is sanctified spiritual food offered to Krishna with love and devotion. The devotees are word famous for their tasty food.

@@mattychapati Yes, it was outside of London. I saw the photo in this video of the dark brown and white mansion and assumed it was Henley that was also mentioned. It had a lot of rooms and I stayed in a smaller building just outside the main house. I had business to do almost every day in London, so I'd take the train there and back & the subway or tube once inside London. There's also a temple (?) inside London city itself, kind of in a row of other buildings and shops. Who knows where or how many temples they have in or near London now. I went there in December 1986. When I was in London, I would eat at various restaurants, and when I returned to the estate, they would bring me another huge plate of food. I'd tell them that I couldn't eat it as I had just eaten and was full. They told me that I had to eat it since it was blessed. I learned not to eat out before returning! I bought several beautiful paintings from a female devotee I was staying with in her room. She purchased them from an artist near where she was staying in India at one of the temples there. They are on silk. I had them framed, and they've been on my wall for decades.

@@surfelvis5946 Yes the London temple is still there. Iskcon has just these two main temples around London, although now there are temples all over the UK with two in Scotland and two in Ireland. Those silk prints that you have were very popular around the mid 1980s. The little building where you stayed sounds like the ladies ashram. You should take a trip back one day.

wonderful vid , what a treat to view,so many memeries it invokes. last time i spoke to George was in Benares mid 1970ts when i delivered a letter by hand from HG Shyamsundar das his close friend. I found George to be kind,,warm and friendly, humble and a great devotte of Sri Krsna..i miss George very much and pray that Krsna always blesses him with his prema and service. thanks for making and posting this special vid, dandhavats to you Mattychapati das. yrs Caran', AGTSP.

I truly loved the Beatles, they were some what of an awakening for me in my youth a spiritual experience to some extent to help me get out of myself and feel good as a awkward and painful kid it was a great time in music for sure!!
