George Harrison talks about The Beatles’ struggle to control their own music, and how he disagrees with Paul McCartney and John Lennon’s vision for Apple Corp in this 1969 CBC clip.
Apple Corps was involved in several legal disputed with Apple Computer, even reaching a deal that Apple Computer would stay out of the music business. With the onset of MIDI files, the iPod, and now Apple Music, it is clear Apple Corps was unable to keep them out of the biz.

Apple: Beatles LIMITED!? 😆 sound it turned into a freeforall eventually.... Beatles had to split even for financial reasons to start thier individual business like Paul’s MPI and George’s “Dark Horse” companies. The only thing that Beatles could do together and I’m quoting from George is “sing, make records and be “Beatles”. Running a business as a group did not work out and was one of things that lead to the split.

Somethink. Written by Harrison was one ov the best songs put out ever, it was the best song on abbey Rd album, covered by alot of artists,.Paul and John said themselves it was the best track,. Compare somethink to yesterday,. The better overall song was somethink,. My guitar gently weeps and here comes the sun are following closely behind,. These are George's Beatles days, look what he put out post beatles

Apple did carry on for awhile funding street people and crazies, but eventually that name became their feared legal department that would effectively shut down ever seeing or hearing The Beatles. So they had Apple, but they could only manage a single appearance in January on the rooftop.
