Always a great talk show guest. In a Dick Cavett appearance, Dick told him that Yoko had recently occupied the same chair George was sitting in, so George hastily got out of the chair. Now, that kind of thing *could* have been really nasty, but George pulled it off with good nature and good humor, as few people could.
George was so spiritually advanced,so low key and humble considering his achievements and talent. It was the essential ingredient that made the Beatles who they were. They never lost touch with there humour, there soul and there background. A unique brilliant man all by himself and the world is a lesser place without him.🙏♥️🎼. R.I.P George.x

No. I dont think he was. He constantly went on about looking forward to meeting Jesus but as soon as he was terminally ill, he started trying all these different concoctions to try and keep living. Well, why would u do that when you have sung about wanting to meet Jesus,
Jasper Jenkins he’s been doing all the promo stuff at that time for 25 years+. It’s not the reason you do music, but a necessity to advertise it. Like any job, it has parts that you don’t like but need to be done.
This could have been a wonderful interview, had the interviewer had a clue about George and the Traveling Wilburys. Instead it was awkward. Disappointing. Still adore George and the band; always will. xxxxx
