For 51 years I saw my own reflection in the eyes of my loving wife. We danced and held each other in our arms when togather and in our hearts when apart. Those years flew by and now she's gone. She passed last September and my love for life died with her. If you love your's, tell her and show her. Don't let a morning or a night go without hugs and kisses and words that sweetly tell her she's special. Once she's gone this will be your memories and lonliness.
I knw how you fill becau I had a husband who passed away 2012 but he told me in Dec. he would not be around very much longer. And March 8, 20 12 he passed awayit would have been 42 years for us. I hav been a widow since becau I am dif and old school too. I guess thats why I think so. Maybe because I dress dif. Dont know. But I guess it doesnt matter.I am 71 years old and a grandmother of four boys and I hav two grown children that I love very much. And I am a great grandmother too. So I know in time you will fill better. Just rember the good times you shared with her and evently you will move on with your lif. Just takes tim. Be safe
George was loved by all his fans and more. He truly could break your heart and bring a tear to your eye with that wonder voice. He is truly missed. God loaned him to us for a while.
Also, George invited us to his home in Franklin. I was home on leave from the Air Force and couldn't attend..George found out where I was stationed and sent me a autographed cowboy hat with a note and said, "Thank you and all the military people that protect us"....class act!
I’m 14 just lost the best girl I’ve ever knew she made me happy and was the only thing that could in my life rn and I have been feeling horrible for a week or two I can’t sleep I cry all night and most of the day I will find something to do but as soon as I’m done with that I feel so horrible, lonely, depressed and sick and I treated her right and she even said I did and I can’t see why she would make me feel like this I need help honestly but it is what it is.
One of the greatest that will ever be and no one will ever Fill Those Shoes. Thanks George. My wife and danced a lot of miles to your great voice and shared yours and Tammy's duets. My favorite is ONE by the two of you. God Bless and rest in peace my friend..Don
@iwantmooredudleyness: Thanks for your response. George Jones was one of my wife and I favorites. He sings from the heart and we would dance with each other or sometimes we would just stand heart to heart and sway to the music. I know of no other love than the love we shared most of our lifes with each other. It doesn't seem that long ago we were young and full of life. We had 4 children, 7 grandchildren & 3 great grandchildren. You'll find my postings on other Jones love songs. She was my life.
George Jones was it extremely lucky man to have such a wonderful wife as Nancy she was the best thing that ever walked in George's life thanks Nancy may God bless you and George we miss you and we love you and we will see you again someday
@realcountry88 And I was beginning to think I was the only one who felt this way! I still love the old favorites. I'm most generally in to rock n roll but when it comes to country give me George Jones, Jim Reeves, Kitty Wells, Hank Locklin,,, my list just goes on and on.

I've seen the Rocky's Bloom in the springtime Reflections of scarlet and gold And I've seen the moonlight Dance on the ocean Like a silver ballet that unfolds I've seen the bright lights Of old New York City There's nothing in the world that shines Like the love in your eyes Like the love in your eyes There ain't no diamond That ever has sparkled There ain't no star that shines Like the love in your eyes Like the love in your eyes Sometimes I wander And lose my direction Sometimes I go over the line But it's such a comfort And it's such a blessing To know that you're there all the time When I feel I'm driftin' On a sea of confusion There's a beacon That always shines It's the love in your eyes It's the love in your eyes There ain't no diamond That ever has sparkled There ain't no star that shines Like the love in your eyes Like the love in your eyes It's the love in your eyes The love in your eyes
B J Myers yeah i love old country music like this so much better what they play today isn't country music at all i wish they would just take it all off the radio and put the old country music back on
41 people need to go back to the cave they crawled out off.... Not a day goes by that I don't have George playing at home or on my iPod. Still can't get over the fact there will be no more chances to hear him sing new songs :(
Ooh I Love this because it's just so plain & simple and he makes characteristics with him seeing the love in you're eyes to others things he feels define his love, BEAUTIFUL. I feel the same way. Whoa!!!
