His Peak was in 2004 and 2005. He was hilarious, genuinely funny and had a huge fanbase. After he divorced, his stand up act changed, and soon started popping up on the news and tmz for personal reasons that affected him on stage. The whole kidney transplant received from his wife, then soon he divorced her. It became clear he had substance abuse issues, and drinking heavily. He was apparently cheating on his wife, during his marriage, a whole bunch of bad publicity went viral. But the one I saw was the straw for his ranks and success was when he humiliated a female during a show in front of hundreds, totally disrespecting her and literally telling her off in the worst manner that eventually had her and her guest kicked out of the show all because she didn't see a joke he mentioned as to being funny. He was way out of line and that night I realized he was no longer the fans favorite Chicano comic, he was cold, dark and showed a side of himself his wife probably had to put up with for years. He became extremely corky and arrogant. Tables turned for him when he had to abruptly end a show and walk off stage at the very beginning of his act for feeling ill... I Called karma. Then he put down Young comic Barbosa and it wasn't good. His appearance says it all.
