Aint gonna lie, Im from east africa, and I this nigga kept me laughing like i was a mexican and i really related to everything he was saying...that showed me that it wasnt a mexican thing but a universal language of '' we came from naffin to having something''....viva lopez and the mexican ppl...
No lie; my boyfriend and I live in Round rock texas, and we were going to a jack in the box. The topic of comedians came up in the car, I was just about to mention george lopez when the person in the drive thru sounded JUST LIKE HIS IMPRESSION. I was practically holding my breath while my boyfriend ordered for us, after we got his food I showed him this clip. He about pissed himself laughing, George you're the best
@@crasemejia6681 Sandra Bullock was looking to develop a sitcom. She was looking for someone funny. George Lopez always tells the story on how she came im at the right time in his life. She fought for him when they didnt want him to be the lead actor. It was the a wildly successful George Lopez show back 2002.
@@markanthonyfuentes4052it’s truly sad that raza had a hard time coming up but the newer generation will never understand that George got it out the mud. He came from nothing like most Mexicans but yet they still hate on him it’s sad.
Mexicans are the hardest working people. The only father I ever knew, was my friends father, I still call him Papi. At the time I didn't like it,looking back he was being a father to me. Papi let's go,I didn't argue with him,I respected him . He was from Mexico, hard working man.
Cool story I've seen hard working people of all colors. Who gives a shit if they're from Mexico or Nicaragua. That's good they value their lives. Works knows no color. Knowing he's Mexican means nothing. Would the story be different if he were from Brazil? No it'd be same damn story. Pointing out where he's from discredits him and yourself.
@@eyekantbeme what happen your feelings got hurt Because your not Mexican?! Don’t worry we Mexican love and welcome all ethnicities and treat them like family.
Having grown up in and having spent more than 50 years of my life in southern California, it's hard for me to sit here without laughing so hard I nearly pee myself listening to George.
George Lopez show is one of the more genuinely funny sitcoms of all time. Up there with golden girls and such lol it's rare for standup comedians to truly translate, speaks to how underrated George Lopez is!
My son totally relates. He asked for burritos at del taco without any hot sauce. He overstated "no hot sauce". And he got hot sauce on ALL 10 burritos and even got an additional 14 packets of sauce. He told me " just like George said"😂
What is so funny about this guy is that HE SPEAKS THE TRUTH! You can't make this shit up! I don't think he's funny in real life, but on the stage he's amazing.
My grandpa is one of the hardest working guys I’ve ever met and I’m so lucky to have him a mechanic for almost 55 years and has made many friends all around town. He’s such a wonderful person to be around so funny and full of love ❤ he will Help anyone if they need and will make sure your car is running great
I wish my Mom was still alive to see George Lopez make it to HBO...she would LOVE this special. Oh, and by the way? TOTAL LATIN MOM...anyone else been hit with a chankla?
This particular stand up set, i would put in the top 10 routines of all time!!! This routine is legend. I remember the first time i watched this i seriously laughed for an hour strait!
Joaquin en la caja????HILLARIOUS MY MAN. The more we think we're different. The more we're all the same. Let's respect and 💘 one another..Life is too short....Thank you GEORGIE!!!!!
Actually two very different races also most people hide or get scared it's alarming when someone hits the door when someone honks that's normal you hear that all the time.
About building sooooo true lol my father in law or grandpa where you want it? Ok perfect! Lol my husband is a roofer and one time the ladder didn't reach a three floor building and they were trying to reach a higher chimney. No ladder could do it, he climbed that sht and pulled his boss up lmao!
WHY I so love living in a dense urban sprawl, the diversity of people and their experiences is why i get his jokes. I've experienced many of these things 3rd hand.
