He would have been a much better fit than Johnny Depp, that’s for sure. Too bad, because I think they could have really pushed each other in some cool directions. I don’t think Jeff played with too many other guitar players who played in such a similar sonic playground.
5+ minutes of bliss! I can't believe this is all the views the video has gotten. RU-vid's counter must be broken because I think I have watched this more than the current total.
George,Randy, and Eddie all basically came on the seen at the same time. Randy was quoted as saying that Lynch was the best around 💯🤟 and said George was so good he's scary. Hence the nickname Mr Scary 💯🤟🤟🎸🎸🔥🔥🔥! RIP RANDY and EDDIE 🙏🙏🤟💯🎸🎸🎸🔥🔥🔥 I know y'all are Ripping it up in heaven with all the other greats that have passed on. Mr Scary is still ripping it up for y'all until he comes to the party 💯🤘🎸🎸🎸🔥🔥🔥
I like to think I accomplished some level of creativity on guitar over 20 some years of playing. He blows 20 years away in his first 10 seconds. I'll never be on George's level. God bless the king.
It blows my mind that this extremely high level of instrumental virtuosity and pure improvisation was once so revered that it was aired uncut by a major media outlet. My… how things have changed.
I saw, "The Lynch Mob", down at the OSU Campus years ago. I think, I'm kinda pretty sure, or someone... Maybe not, how the hell would I know, quit bothering me.
I watched this cilp 2012 first. I was really impressed by Lynch's tremendous guitar soloing. But this clip was deleted by some resason before. And it is so happy that it revived one more.
Is saying someone is underated like a thing.u know dam well he is at the top of all kinds of people's list.u just like to say he is underated because u think it makes you sound like u know something we don't know..one of the baddest never been anything else
GENIUS....GERGE LYNCH GOT LIKE JEFF BECK,EVH,YNGWIE IS OWN STYLE...BUT I LIKE GEORGE BECAUSE HE USE MOSTLY LICKS THAN SCALES...MORE SOUL THAN TECHNICS....GREAT....
Get a 100 guitar players to shred over this and I'll still pick Mr Scary out. Unique and still blows me away, he pulls notes that you could never guess before hand. Legend!
It's always an amazing experience when they surprise you with the note progressions. Just when you think you know where the solo is going (or even possibly the very next note), it takes a completely different turn, thus throwing you off. The first big time I've experienced this was when I was younger and first heard TooL - Right In Two in the opening riff. Adam Jones has a 3 set piece of 3 notes for the main riff; the first set ends on a high note, the second with a low note, and I originally expected the 3rd set to end on an even lower note, but he brings it back up to a higher note which completely through me off course and I immediately loved the song!
Right??? Look up George and Chris Broderick talking and jamming together on FUSE. George realized QUICKLY he is a small boy in a world of large guitar men. Love them both tho.
@@timpate2050 Technically yeah maybe Chris but Lynch has it all brother, heart and soul. George Lynch has his own style that moves you and that my friend you can't teach some have it some while are great guitar players no matter how fast etc just don't. That's the difference ✌️🤟
That is music. Why do you think something can still come out fresh when it’s the same 12 notes. 100% The instrument is just a means of letting it escape.
