I get it actually, it was a moment where mcfly instead of being the one in need of help was for a split second able to be the one to assist. Throughout the movie he is almost infant like just this wounded, fearful sensitive being lacking the ability to assert himself. Because we know, hes Marty's father it changes the dynamic for a split moment to where it should be..I hope that helps it's hard to explain but I get it.

I took this with George saying "You're my density." as the human side of asking someone out, everyone is nervous about it and they ask or tell them how they feel in different and sometimes very awkward ways. What made that part of the line cute is the look on Lorraine's face and the look on George's once he realized he said "density" instead of "destiny"

Not only that, much earlier in the film when Marty asked for something with no sugar in it, Lou had the black coffee right away for Marty.
