So glad George has made such a remarkable recovery. We are in a similar situation with our son's dog. Couldn't move one day, the various vets said he may need to be put down. Then, we took advice from a dear friend who is also a vet out of state. After a few weeks of medicine, he is back up on his feet and enjoying life again! Never, EVER give up hope. Again, so happy for all three of you 🙂
